Overall I’m happy with the Harmony Companion. However, I’m glad I got this version with the physical remote. The phone app is typical of equipment apps - it is not very user friendly or pretty. It does an adequate job of programming your devices, but required several tries to get things set in proper sequence. Once programmed I find the companion remote to be the best way to interact with our home theater. Most functions from the dedicated remotes are available on the companion and buttons are where you would expect them to be. The remote coverage is very good thanks to WiFi connection to the Smart Hub.

Great unit - love the tablet design, and the design of the remote. However, it is inconsistent with our system. Not sure if this is an issue with the unit, our WiFi, our other components, or a combination.

I'm pumped with this purchase, it was easy to program. Simple setup and config with all my all my smart devices. No longer do I have to turn the sonos off before watching tv! My girlfriend never gets lost anymore when trying to watch a movie or use the smart apps on the tv. This universal changed the control I have on everything in my house.

I wanted to purchase a Harmony Hub to pair to my Harmony Hub. For the price, this option makes more sense, especially when on sale.

Convenient, but costly to set up - thankful for Geek Squad

While I do miss the help button on the Harmony One, I won't miss the expanding battery problem of the One. The lack of a help button can be overcome by some inventive button pushing, and with the lack of a screen it's about as good as you can get. I would still purchase this remote over the Harmony one because of the price difference.

I read all the reviews on each universal remote on Best Buy’s site. I chose this one because I was looking for the option to have a physical remote and use my phone/iPad as another option. The good: Usually works well with the phone as the remote. Easy setup/alterations The bad: The physical remote is a waste of time, rarely works correctly. Doesn’t control my Xfinity cable box at all - zero. The mini blaster doesn’t receive signals sometimes. Hope you have better luck than me.

I have been using the associated app with iPad and iPhones to turn on and control everything, and this Harmony system is awesome!

I like it. It works nicely with the stuff that I have.

I bought this to replace and older Harmony 650 that was wearing out. It took a little extra time to set up, but once I got that worked out, it has worked brilliantly. I love being able to make quick changes through the app instead of having to plug into my computer to change things.

Happy with it now, but needed Geek Squad to program. (Took two trips to sort out malfunctions when cabinet doors were in desired closed position.)

I was able to connect all my devices so I can turn them on/off with one button. It will take a little time, but it can be done.

We find our Harmony remote to work perfectly and we are pleased with the performance. Our old one was over 2yrs. old, so it reached it's used by date. The technician was very helpful explaining various uses and made sure we understood.

I absolutely love this remote control, it is simple and easy-to-use. It works with my iPhone and I have a tactile device with buttons that I can push. I do highly recommend this remote to anybody looking for a replacement for all the remotes that you carry. This will program multiple devices even smart home devices. Cheers!

works perfectly with my home theater system. works well with alexa too. i wish that you didnt have to say "alex, ask harmony to..." in order to have harmony do something but i believe that is more of an alexa issue than a harmony issue. overall glad i purchased it and it took all my remotes to a single remote no prob!

I was told by a salesman at Best Buy that this unit would do what I asked for it to do which was mainly to be able to go thru Google voice to turn on my tv and to be able to ask it to change channels. I bought it, brought it home and had the Geek Squad come the next day to set it up for us. The fellow told me that the unit could not do what I was told in the store it could do. He advised me to buy another item so I returned this item back to the store. I understand it is a great unit with good reviews, but just not all of the things I needed it to do..

The hub is in a cabinet beneath and to the side of my wall mounted TV. It is able to power on the TV without any difficulty.

Bought the hub to use with Alexa. Harmony is probably the best for what it is. Some of the set up was a little frustrating, but at the end of the day its a pretty cool setup and works well together.

Control was fairly easy to program. It took several tries to get it to recognize the various components, but once I found the correct code it all worked great. Is so much better than using multiple remotes.

Bought this for a disabled individual that has limited use of hands, but could use an IPAD. The Harmony HUB has been wonderful for them. The actual remote control device is fairly standard, but purchased for the value of the device together with Harmony HUB.
