The Geek Squad had a very difficult time getting the Harmony Remote set up. They left without explaining everything in detail. The Harmony remote is not functioning properly and they have to come set up again. Not sure if it is the Harmony Remote or the Geek Squad that is at fault here. As far as can determine from what did work the Harmony remote has a lot of limitations. It does not work very good with the Cox Contour system and does not have the functions on the Cox remote, such as voice activation and sports look up. So now I have to use 2 remotes at a minimum.

Easy transfer from a previous harmony. Easy configuration on the iPad or computer. I have had no sync issues, it has worked flawlessly. The only downside compared to my previous harmony is the battery, I need to charge it every other day or so and the app seems to suck my iOS devices dry as well.

The Harmony Elite remote and hub can help you do just that. With some simple programming that the web app walks you through, you can set up both the remote and your smart phone to control all your audio devices. Setup is really easy and you will see within minutes the rewards of using this device.

Allows you to control multiple entertainment and home controller devices. A negative is that you cannot use more than one remote with the supplied hub. Pricey!

it has great functionality and range and is useful a a remote for all remotes but learning it for some people maybe difficult so be prepared to adjust to it. especially if you're not tech savvy.

our harmony remote makes things(watching tv, a dvd, listening to the stereo or the cd player) a snap...all with 1 remote. No clutter with needing several remotes to run different devices. the new touchscreen is a wonderful upgrade. we couldn"t be happier with this purchase.

I got this to replace my slowly dying Harmony Ultimate. It's a great remote and hub! I really like the repositioned buttons for play/pause and fast forward/rewind (they were placed above the screen on the Ultimate which was always a baffling decison, making some of the most used buttons harder to reach and increasing the chances of accidentelly hitting something on the screen when you dont' want to).
The only issues I have with this are the fact that for some reason sometimes when you press one of the 'soft' buttons on the screen it will vibrate as if it registered the press but nothing will happen and you have to hit it a second time. This isn't always the case and it may be a matter of learning how long to press it to register as a press (I think it's trying to avoid accidental presses which I appreciate), but when it buzzes that should be an indication that you've successfully pressed the button.
The other much bigger issue is just the cost. This is a GREAT remote and I don't regret buying it, but boy is it expensive. I'm not sure it's really the best choice for most people.
I'm also a bit concerned with how hard it has been to find these in stock anywhere lately, and whether that signals that Logitech is about to stop selling it. Hopefully not!

This remote works great....took me about 15 ins too set it up, however it takes time to configure the remote to your settings. First off it did not work flawlessly with my sound bar, maybe the sound bar is a bit outdated for the remote, and it took me a while to set up the correct connections for what buttons do what. To configure the buttons you have to use the app on the phone, all the remote does is to power up the devices but the app is where you set everything else up. Each device has to be set up in its own way, so for your tv controls you set it up one way, your sound bar another way, your ps4 another way etc. Also it does not power on/off the ps4 due to Sony restrictions. I like this remote because i use to have a remote for everything so it was nice to condense my entertainment system to one remote. It will take a bit explaining to the mrs if they are not tech savvy, as it was hard to comprehend myself. The best advise i can give it buy the remote, had a friend that purchased the app version alone and they said with the remote it was easier for them to use. Only buy IF you have the patience to set it up, i know some might get frustrated at the set up, its honestly a trial and error till you get use to it.

This replaced my Harmony One controller. I have been using Harmony controllers for the last 10 years and the setup keeps getting better and easier. I can update everything via the controller or the Harmony app.
Works great with my Nest thermostat as well as my Hue lights.

The Harmony Elite is awesome! The smart home integration is top notch also. The only pet peeve is the channel set function doesn’t work 100% when you have it programmed for an automated function. I may still need to play with delays, but so far that’s the only complaint!

Love it easy to setup great product, using iPhone ipad app is just great. You can control everything using apps.
The actual remote is good for guests and very intutive, kids love it too. Yes the updates take some time but only while the remote or additional devices and new macros are added.

This is the best remote available if you want an all in one remote. I bought this one to replace the Harmony remote I've had for 8 years or so, that began to die. It takes a little time to set it up and then a little more time to learn but overall it worth the time.

This remote works well. It fits into your hand nicely and is easy to use. Most of our electronic components are in an entertainment center, but this remote works through glass and other minor obstructions.

this is more versatile than the lower model and can be use at any angle, its main drawback is the numeric keyboard, it is hard to hit the numbers without repeated tries. Very frustrating!

It's a great all in one remote. The remote has great response but I still miss the old screen touchpad design. Other than that a great buy. Would be 5 stars if I had not loved the look of the older model.

Great Remote Control without complicated multiple commands.
The only complaint would be the programming directions are lacking.
Found a couple of videos online that made the process easier.
This is our third Logitech controller and they have all been good.

Get rid of all those remotes lying around the house. Remote is easy to program with PC or cell phone making it user friendly. The only con I have found is when searching through guide, advancement is by only one screen at a time, you can not keep key pressed to continuously advance.

I have had a lot of remotes from Logitech, and this one is near perfect. The physical remote is great - not so sure yet how I feel about not having physical buttons for channel numbers, but so far so good. The set-up software is not 100% intuitive but hopefully that will get better.

Upgrading from my Harmony Ultimate One which was the first Harmony design to use the Hub. The Ultimate had the unfortunate design of not having an easily replaceable battery which thankfully the Elite rectifies.
The Elite also has the added benefit of having the touchscreen solely on the top of the remote whereas the Ultimate had it in the middle of unit which made it easy unintentionally activate commands on the touchscreen.
The programming interface is the same app for both remotes. Harmony also make it easy to copy an existing setup to a new remote.
Some prefer to just get the hub and then use a smartphone or tablet for the remote. I have found the you can’t use your custom lists and sequences on the smartphone. I haven’t tried using a tablet but overall I prefer having a dedicated remote.
I have been using Harmony products for over a decade. They have improved over time but there is still a learning curve to the programming and also experiment with placement. The hub itself has multiple blaster but it also comes with two larger blasters that connect to the rear of the hub if you have IR equipment in multiple locations that are not in the same line of sight. I mount the main hub unit inside of my equipment cabinet and then have a blaster on top of the cabinet pointed at my projector and IR control for my LED poster light boxes. The other blaster is pointed at my iR switch for my room lights.
Finally even though there’s a learning curve with Harmony if you have the patience to work on optimizing the setup it’s one of the most cost effective systems with a large array of supported components. Similar systems from other manufacturers require professional setup and then if you ever add or change components the system integrator is needed again for a fee of course.

I never thought Logitech would be able to top their Harmony One remote, but this one seems to accomplish that goal and more! Not only can I control my I/R devices, but I'm also able to control my Wii U and PS4 as well!
