If you have multiple items in your home entertainment area of your house you need this remote. The luxury of having one remote to control everything is something everyone should have. The addition of the HUB makes this a no brainer. With the HUB you can place RF switches next to components that you may not have a direct view. One button, or one screen tap, and you turn all or certain items on to begin your entertainment experience. This is my second Harmony remote after having my Harmony One for over 5 years; had to replace because dog broke the screen. Cradle is super nice and insures that remote is charging everytime. Battery life seems nice over the first couple weeks, I have been keeping the remote in the cradle when not in use so I can't speak to the exact time the battery lasts.

I previously owned a Logitech 1100 which had icons for the various functions and worked great. The Logitech 915 is not as user friendly and while it works fine it takes a lot more time to learn

This thing is awesome! I have had other harmony remotes and this one is by far the best. The buttons are well laid out and easy to use. The range of this remote is unreal. I can be standing in my kitchen through walls and 40 feet from the receiver, tv, blu ray player and it controls the electronics no problem. The one negative I have is that when you are changing channels on the touch screen and punching in numbers it is a bit cumbersome. For example - if you want to go to channel 360 I need to press 0360 on the touchscreen of the remote. It responds well, but having an actual keypad of buttons would be nice. Trade-off would be that the remote would be physically bigger. At any rate, that little thing is still no enough for me to give it any less of a star. 5 stars on this one - nice work Logitech!

You can spend over $1000 on a universal remote or go with Logitech's remote. It is fairly easy to setup if you have a bit of computer savvy not much required. If not, their over the phone support is phenomenal for the setup. Also, the device works great after setup and feels comfortable in the hand. It is a quality remote, however I think the only flaw is the durability of the remote. It will withstand a drop but not several. It doesn't feel that durable because of the materials used not feeling dense enough for protection against drops. Other than that, The RF or IR option works great and it is easily controlled from your mobile device as well. Great product and great buy for the money. If you don't need RF control, the other models go for as low as $100 compared to this $349 option. Cheers!

Very nice remote and easy for me to use, but I am also tech savvy. I do feel they make it pretty easy for users to set up though. The battery lasts a pretty good while right now, but it is still pretty new. I think we get 4-5 days maybe. We mostly use it to control our Apple TV 4K, Denon Receiver, and Samsung TV. And we sometimes switch to our electric projector screen and projector for movies. Just push a button and switch.

This remote is great. I read a lot of reviews and I was mostly interested in the home automation aspect of this product. It turns out that there best part about it is that it made the entertainment system so easy to use that my girlfriend never has to ask, "Which remote do I need?" Or "What else do I need to turn on to get this stupid tv to work?" Once you get it setup, you Simeon my select the activity that you desire (watch tv, play PlayStation, etc) using the touch screen and it takes care of the rest. If you want to make it even easier, buy an Amazon Echo or Echo Dot to go with it and you can control everything with your voice. I also have mine attached to my Ecobee thermostat, so I can see and adjust he temperature in the house from my remote. Pretty cool!

My mom and dad love to watch movies, but have been complaining about to many remotes. So after a little research, I made this purchase. I hooked my parents up with a full 7.2 system= Receiver, Directv, Blu-Ray, AppleTV, Firestick, with an older (2009) projection TV. This remote controls it all. Best feature (one-touch) after you set-up your remote, this feature lets you press the source you want and turn on everything else you need for that source. Ex: Directv= one-touch turns on box, tv, and receiver. Changes channels, adjust volume with no problems. Awesome product, bought for Christmas, mom and dad still smiling!!!

The configuration can be a little wonky for first timers, but relative to other similar remotes (e.g. URC), it's a snap. Most of the operations are done with tactile buttons, infinitely better than touch screens, but it's there when needed for flexibility and customization. The hub comes with IR blasters, but if needed or preferred, I have connected it with a Xantech IR distribution block and emitters, leftovers from my previous IR only system. I have not attempted to operate IoT devices (lighting, power switches, etc.), but I have to assume it works just fine. It is currently controlling my Roku Ultra via IP without any issues.

Very sensitive touch screen but we love how easy it was to program.
