Excellent remote control, I would recommend it to anyone

Still trying to get my wife trained on it but I love it

I have had many Logitech remotes over the years. The previous version of this remote was much better. The fact that this stopped working after a few weeks is a big disappointment considering, especially, how expensive it is. A $10 remote would work as well. I will be returning this as soon as I can (since it is useless).

We have an older Logitech remote which our whole family agrees that while larger and no touch screen, its a MUCH better product. The Touch seems to loose connectivity, takes forever to start controlling features after initial start up and buttons are not in great locations to fit hand...kinds awkward! NOT what I expected from Logitech!! I will be looking to replace or exchange...

The remote works great but it's not fun to manually type in a channel number on a touch screen.

My harmony one broke so i was stuck getting this one. I prefer the one.

The remote is very tricky to use, typically after using a remote my fingers are able to memorize the keys. The problem is that the middle are is a touch panel screen that can easily morph into different pass. For example, it can be a numbers pad or a channel pad. You have to keep track of what screen you are in to operate and constantly be confirming your window instead of eyes on the Tele. What's worse is the touch panel is sensitive and very often thinks I hit the stop button forcing me out of viewing a recording and onto live TV which is getting highly annoying. This is simply not worth it.

had this remote for about 2 days and ended up upgrading to the ultimate. Controlled everything but my PS3

It's an ok remote but in my opinion has major ergonomic issues. The controls should be placed differently, the menu is CONFUSING AS CAN POSSIBLY BE!! I will add that the setup is better on the My Harmony site. I still use my old 650,just can't groove with this new one.

I have the 650 and find it more user friendly. This one was harder to get going.

I am sure there must be a better product out there for the price. it hangs up and wont respond

A little difficult to set up - but nice if you want a universal style remote

I had high hopes for this remote. It is in the Family room and everyone hates it. They don’t like the direction screen, there’s no number buttons to go to tune into the channel you want to watch. This remote fell flat. So now I’m searching for another remote.

The remote is ok. But some times i need to push the button twice to turn- off the tv.

Was skeptical about touch after reading so many negative reviews, so i gave it a try, my first impression after week of use is positive. From the time opening the box to turn on my tv was approx. 15 minutes, the new website brought all my settings from my harmony one account and remote was updated. I think logitech has to bring in a game changer in order to better the Harmony One, another big remote with button will not be able to cut it. So a touch screen like smart phone screen is logitech's answer, people who hate touch screen for remote will not like this remote and the other half will like it, that is why the review have so many 1 star and many 5 star not much in between. there is i like the forward and rewind gestures, there are gestures for volume up and down, i do see my self using hard button for these functions. I am not reviewing the programming about this remote as i did not change anything, i have very complicated system and took me a while to write the macros and customizations of buttons for my harmony One, most of my equipment has not changed, i will add some photos for screen saver though. there will be learning curve to use the touch screen, after this remote is definite upgrade to harmony one. i am already loving this remote as it is much smaller than harmony one. build quality is top notch as expected from logitech. i have owned 2 harmony One and Harmony 650. Harmony touch is replacement to one of the harmony touch which is dying with sticky buttons and swollen battery (lasted 5 years of heavy use and many drops), My family cannot use our entertainment systems without harmony remotes.

Product is okay but could be a lot better with just a few tweaks

Just average but once programmed it controls all I need it to.

The MyHarmony.com page is a sad excuse for a replacement of the previous software. Layout is very poorly designed. The remote is not near as flexible as it should be for this price range. Touch gestures are pointless.
