All the different equipments linked fine with this remote control

I already have two. Got an extra one at the great price! Easy to program and easy to use. I have several logitech remotes and they certainly do away with the clutter of remotes.

Great remote easy to setup. Now my wife can turn on the tv without me. This is my first logitech remote would highly revommend

I had a Harmony 550 and it was glorious. It was basic but did the job well. My new Harmony Touch makes me miss my old 550 more and more. The button layout is all wrong. The touchscreen is too sensitive. There is a delay between pressing a physical button or a button on the touch screen and the action happening. Fast forwarding and rewinding can be a challenge because of that delay. Mind you, its not the millisecond delay for when it communicated to the device, but as if when you press a button, the little computer in the remote has to process that button press, figure out what it does and then send it off. My 550 is still in my house. Some of the buttons don't press and the tiny LCD screen is shattered so it functions as a backup. The delay is obvious when you use both devices side by side. All that being said, its not a terrible device given the rest of the Harmony line up out right now. If the 550 was still in production, it'd be different, but its not so we must move on. The touchscreen does give you access to channel shortcuts which is nice to have. There are so many channels these days, its hard to remember all the channel numbers. Would I recommend this remote to a friend, yes but only because once you own a Harmony, its hard to ever go back to any other remote. A bad Harmony is still better than any universal remote that isn't a Harmony.

I'm so glad i bought this remote - it makes the life so much easier - just ONE REMOTE now - before we had 5 ! :-) this is a great product ! Easy to configure and setup.

takes some time to pull out the items to get the needed info... but once it is connect works great with newer products... not as well with older VHS or like products

I purchased the Logitech Harmony remote to control my TV, AV-PreAmp and CD/DVD player, Roku and AppleTV. It works very well for most purposes. When I want to watch TV it determines whether I want to watch the Roku, the AppleTV, the DVD or just the cable and turns on the specific device required, in the proper setting for the device thru my AV-PreAmp. On the other hand, I still am struggling with issues like tuning the pre-sets on my FM tuner or changing channels on the Cable. I am not clear how I will ultimately make this work but, to be honest, I have not felt that it was an important enough issue on a daily basis to justify spending a lot of time on it. Mainly, this remote makes the complexities of this configuration of devices more approachable to my family and that is enough for me.

This came close to not only being a negative review, but a returned item. The mistake I made was to chose to transfer the settings from my old Logitech remote to this one, rather than entering the device information fresh. The "transfer" option caused many problems, both with the control of the devices and the display on the remote. When I reset this remote and entered the device information, which only took 10 minutes, at most, everything worked fine. This remote is very easy to use, although there is a bit of a "learning curve" as the touch screen does multiple things.

This is a good product it is easy to use and program.

Admittedly, I bought this remote because it was on sale and I thought it was the Harmony Ultimate which I have in my living room. While it is a nice remote it does not live up to the Harmony Ultimate. I would suggest spending the extra money to get the Ultimate.

Is much sturdier and easier to use than the cheaper $80 remote. Got it on sale and replaced every remote in my house with this one. Love it with no complaints.

This control is awesome. The options you have to use are great. The setup was fast and easy. We do not have the newest items yet we had to compatibility issues

This remote replaces and older Harmony and I could not be happier with the ease of use and love the touchscreen!!!

I have used the remote for the last few mionths and overall im quite happy with it but it does have it's short comings. The fvr controls at the top of the remote make for a very awkward grip and are not easily reachable. The skip ahead 30 seconds button was replaced by f-forward button which also takes some getting used too, even tho you can press it for longer and get a forward 30 sec skip but it takes timing to get it right. The page up page down button was also removed, you can add the option as a touchscreen button but it does not make it convenient or practical as you have to swipe a few times to get to it and second of all depending on the size of your thumb you can press other touchscreen buttons instead of the page up page down. overall it s a nice techie option and i would definitely recommend it if you can get it on sale for 99.99 not the 299 price tag.

I'm totally in love with this remote. I first must emphasize that I'm a tech nerd and anything that I can do to add to my tech collection is always worth the investment. I was able to very quickly set-up this remote to control my TV, Blu-Ray Player, Sound Bar and DirecTV box. Unfortunately, I was unable to set-up my Playstation through this device which was very sad. The remote if very easy to use and works like a charm. One of the unique things is that you actually set-up the remote via their website. There's no more hunting for you device's code and clicking through till you find the right one. You just enter the make and model number and it takes care of everything. Another feature I really like is that there are short cut buttons you can set-up for your favorite channels. No more searching endlessly through the guide. I also like that the touch screen allows you to open each device (i.e.: TV, cable box, etc) and utilize the same remote layout as if you were using that devices' remote. It truly is one of the best consolidation remotes I've ever purchased. The unit sits inside a cradle which allows it to recharge. So far, its never run out of juice and that's with continual use throughout the day.I'm so happy with this that I'm seriously considering purchasing one for each room of our house. I hate having multiple remotes and this is the best way to go.

I replaced my Harmony 780 remote with this and the interface/layout is much improved. AND the response time is less than,half that of the old remote.
