Best buy has several similar products at a range of prices. This one is in the middle of that range and seemed as if it would work for my purposes. I have not been disappointed. It fits on my screen securely and delivers the picture and sound well. I think I made the right choice.

So I don't really know much about webcams, but I needed one for a Skype interview. I got this because they had it at the store and it wasn't too expensive. It was pretty easy to set up and use with Skype. From what I could tell on my end, it worked well because I got the job.

Extremely easy to use. The auto focus works like a charm and lighting doesn't seem to be much of a problem like other brands. The mic quality ia decent and does do ok in noisey enviroments. Only problem with the product, you can't turn auto focus off.

not expensive at all. great for first time skype users. picture is clear. i little grainy but not bad, and you cant really tell unless you are looking for that. im not sure if you can take pictures or not with it but its great for skypeing with your friends and family.

Using the camera for online school. Protored exams with live video. I just pluged this camera in and it registered. Went to the testing site to have my setup evaluated and all was great. Looking forward to taking my mid term from home with my new camera. I'm sure it would do equally well with SKYPE and such. Nice clear picture quality at an affordable price. Two thumbs up!

My 14 year old son requested this for his gaming rig to add video to game chat. He appeared from his room, ripped open the package, and was online 3 minutes later. No complaints, which is as good an endorsement as you can get.

I bought this camera for my parents because their old one was getting too outdated. This one has a great image quality and is very easy to setup (basically, Windows detected it out of the box).

I had to purchase a new webcam since my Logitech C5000 wouldn't work after I upgraded my pc to Windows 10. I chose the Logitech C525 because of the good reviews and value. Installed easily with no problems. Video and audio quality are great.

Easy installation/setup & excellent quality video. The price can't be beat for what you get. This is used for gaming and Skype calls. Haven't actually used it with Lync, but I'm extrapolating it'd be the same as Skype...

Have many Logitech products, camera works well, a little tricky to set up on my Mac, but contacted Logitech support and they were very helpful

Got this for Skype while gaming. It has worked great for that. It doesn't bog down my system and the picture is very clear. I don't use the built-in mic so I can't comment on its quality.

I use this web cam with iSpy and it allows me to view clips when motion is dectected. The Logitech software which has motion only would record 4 to 5 seconds so I just uninstalled and found iSpy does a better job and using my Google Drive the videos are saved there and I can view them from my phone. With iSpy I can only get 15fps but the camera is capable 30fps. I have changed the settings in iSpy but the 15fps is what only records but you can still see the image clear when it is recording. Staples had the camera for $29.99 and I got it priced match it was a great deal.

I bought this webcam with integrated microphone for my 9 year old son to record video/audio commentary of him playing video games on his laptop. For such an application (little movement, clear audio, ease of setup and use), the webcam worked perfectly. The camera has enough degrees of freedom to capture the user easily, and the folding storage is a breeze. The Logitech software is easy enough for him to maneuver after minimal instruction. No complaints at all.
