Good feel for work or play. Illuminating keys and wireless features - works great.

This is my absolute favorite keyboard on the market at the moment. I have 4 of them now, and they all work great. Small, effortless keystrokes and portability are 2 of my favorite features. The battery lasts a week or 2 before needing to be recharged, usually, and it doesn't drop connection like some of the older wireless boards were notorious for. I also like the backlighting for convenience. It's pretty obvious that Logitech switched to a cheaper manufacturing process on these, as they don't have the same quality feel that the older boards did. However, I have not had any quality related issues during use.

I purchased this keyboard as a replacement. Yes, I had this keyboard before and destroyed it after 3 years of use. Unfortunately, I ate and drank at my computer desk too many times and eventually ruined. Each time I did it came back to life after a few days. The last time was just too much. When I was in the market for a new one, I decided to see if Logitech had anything better. For me, the answer was no. I love the feel of the keys and the key sound. The touch is amazing. But the best thing about this keyboard is that it's illuminated. So many times, I use it at night and with this capability I don't have to disturb anyone else in the household by turning on lights. This time around I will take more care to make it last longer. When I looked online for pricing, Best Buy had the best price. It was $30 off or a total of $69 instead of the normal $99. You can't beat this keyboard in my opinion.

This keyboard is quiet and very responsive. The keyboard back lights sense when hands are close to the keyboard and shut-off when hands are way. The dimming is great when watching videos, no need to cover the keyboard. Beyond the back light, I love the calc key (brings up the calculator with one key) and the soft touch quiet keys. The only negative with the keyboard is the need to charge it every three or four days with 8 - 10 hours daily use. However the keyboard can be used while charging via USB. I often connect it to USB on Monday morning and I have a full wireless change most of the week. Highly recommend this keyboard! Wish is was available in other colors like the stone color available for the MX Master mouse, which I use with this keyboard. I plan to purchase another and send it off for customer color / cover.

Bought this keyboard for my home office. As a content developer, I needed a wireless keyboard with a lighted keyboard--and this fits the bill. Ergonomic and responsive, the keyboard is comfortable to use and keeps a sustained charge.

I have used illuminated keyboards from Logitech before and have been very happy with them. When I spilled coffee on the last one, it kept working, but decided it was time for a new one anyway. My older keyboards were wired while the K800 is wireless. It shares the same USB port as my Logitech mouse which frees up a USB port. I love the smooth quiet feel of the keyboard. Since my PC is in a darker area of the room, I absolutely love the illuminated keys. They do turn off when I am not typing (I suppose to save on the battery), but they quickly light up when I place my hands over the keyboard. I don't find that to be an issue. Battery life seems good so far, even if I often forget to switch off the keyboard at night. I'm very glad I chose the Logitech K800 keyboard at Best Buy!

Back lighting is dimmable and easy to adjust. It also has a function that knows to turn the light off when keyboard is inactive as to conserve battery life. Keys feel smooth and responsive

I have a wired, ergonomic keyboard which I like, but it takes up more space on my desk, so I decided it was time to go a little smaller, and wireless as well. I found this one in store and, so far, I like it a lot. It is full-featured (with key pad) but not too large. Checks all the boxes for me - plug and play, key spacing, tactile quality of the keys, palm rest; and it illuminated, too. Good for those late night gaming sessions (gotta have that!). A charge lasts plenty long for me, and USB recharging is simply a non-issue. Altogether, just what I was looking for. Good work, Logitech. It's a keeper.

Full size keyboard with mechanical keys - nice, positive feel. Lights up as soon as you place your hands over it even before you touch a key. Battery life is very good - I do a moderate amount of typing and the battery lasts over a month.

Always been a fan of Logitech. This is the best keyboard to date. It is wireless and USB rechargeable. The auto sensing backlit feature works well. The keys are contoured and quiet. Overall I like the styling and unobtrusive size of the micro USB transmitter.

When my old Apple bluetooth keyboard didn't get along with new iMac, I started looking for a replacement. The Logitech K800 Wireless is exactly what I needed. The built-in wrist rest and the soft touch of the keys makes typing nearly effortless and a lot more fun. (My iMac came with a keyboard, but it wasn't extended and was like typing on an iPad. Why do they even bother?)

Nice backlight auto-off feature to preserve battery life. However, sometimes it would be useful to keep the backlight on full-time. Easy to recharge. This is a great keyboard for using in dark rooms.

This is an amazing keyboard, I have two. My old one still kicking after years of dropping, smashing and bad mouthing. It is wireless or wired, the back lighting on the keys is great and not overwhelming for me. The light fades away when not in use and auto activates when your hand gets close. The battery last awhile while unplugged, I've gamed on it for a week without charging before I needed to plug it in for a half hour or so. The keys a a low profile and not loud when key smashing. I think its a great keyboard and if you get it based on my review and don't like it, keep it as a back up.

I bought this keyboard to replace the Logitec USB lighted version, Bestbuy didnt have that version anymore so I talked to the store rep and they recommended this one. I spilled wine in the other one so you know how that goes, This one has good battery life for a wireless version and I like the lighted keys. No complaints, I do leave the cable attached to the USB port all the time because I spend a lot of time on the computer. I only gave this 4 stars as Logitec made the delete key smaller so I have had to get used to it..

This keyboard is excellent for typing. Very comfortable and the keystroke feedback is great. Also, the battery lasts a very long time and you don't need to be charging it on a constant basis. The only issue I have is the Caps Lock light. It's very hard to see the light unless you lean over and look at it directly from the top. This sometimes makes me re-enter passwords because most of them are now case sensitive. Logitech should fix this issue to make this keyboard a truly great one.

This illuminated keyboard does exactly what I purchased it to do. The illuminated keys makes typing in low light areas a breeze. The feel of the keys is comfortable, and the rounded lip provides a comfortable place for your palms to rest. The power indicator which is located next to the power switch in the upper right hand corner is a great feature. Recharging is relatively quick, and efficient. In my option, the only con is the rounded shape of the space bar, which is a bit uncomfortable to use, but it is not a deal breaker. I would highly recommend this keyboard to anyone who prefers, or needs to work in a room with low light.

I am completely happy with this keyboard. I needed a lighted keyboard because my apartment was being renovated and my wife had not yet chosen the new lamps that she wanted. The area that I work in is not well lighted but with this illuminated keyboard I can see quite clearly. It makes a tremendous difference. My lady may take as long as she wishes to purchase those lamps now.
