This key board works as advertised. It is backlit only when the keys are depressed. The battery charging is very easy and we found the charge can last us about a week even with fairly heavy use. A definite best buy.

This is our second keyboard for my household. Very responsive for gaming, keeps charge well, nice clean look and feel, love the illumination for dim situations. Does NOT connect to smartphone or iPhone. But love it.

Every Logitech product I have purchased has been very satisfying. This keyboard was straightforward to install on a win 10 desktop. The response of the keys is excellent. . The illumination is superb. The little sensor in the shape of the Logitech logo is a great idea. The charge lasts for over a week with moderate typing. Charging is easy and fast with the included usb charger. The unifying usb extender is also a nice touch if one needs to bring the unifier closer to the keyboard.

Have had Logitech keyboards for many years. This new one, K800 is great! Charge lasts a long time and charging time is short. Just what I was looking for. The brightness is adjustable and goes on only when you need it. Just put your hands over the keyboard and the light goes on to your designated setting (low, medium, bright). Best Buy always has the products I need and this one is no exception. Stan

This keyboard has solved a night time work issue when I didn't want to have the lights on that would bother others. Now I can see what I am doing and they can sleep.

I love the comfort I have with this keyboard and also the ease it is to reach all of the keys. Connecting it to my laptop was very easy as well. I really dont have a criticism that is bad.......I would buy again!

Easy glide, backlit, quiet and all the short cuts. It even has pull out stands (albeit small) that you can flip out and have it sit at a slight angle. My only issue is that the Caps Lock key will not light up when it is engaged, very frustrating when doing spreadsheets. I might be doing something wrong because my old one always lit up. Great keyboard and pleased with this purchase!

I like the feel of the keyboard, but I am disappointed with the illumination - I thought it would be brighter, maybe blue neon, and really pop. It hardly pops. Turning it on and off every day to save the battery is a bit of a pain. I would recommend it, but not based on the backlight aspect.

This is a great keyboard. The battery life is excellent - back lite works excellent as well. it warns you when the charge is low and it is a snap to just plug it into a usb port and charge it. I am guessing that the charge lasts me about a month. The key action is good - about what you would expect for a non-mechanical keyboard. The only drawback I have is that the feet keep collapsing - there is no positive lock.

Love this keyboard. Very smooth typing. The backlight is a cool addition. It can be adjusted from low to full 4 options to choose. Also can be recharged with any micro USB cable. Just like your cellphone cable.

the ONLY keyboard out that is wireless and has a backlight. Battery lasts a good week with heavy usage

This purchase was to replace the K800 I purchased when they first came out. The back lighting and recharging capabilities make this keyboard a pleasure to use and own. It is an extremely reliable keyboard.

I hadn't had a wireless keyboard before so I was skeptical. But this is a wonderful keyboard. It also lights up, which is good for me since I have trouble seeing a regular keyboard. I would recommend this product.

At first I thought it was a bit pricey and then I tried out the display model at Best Buy and was quickly convinced. You have to feel the keys on the keyboard yourself, my words cannot provide true justice. I have now been using it for more than a month and really needed very little adjustment. All the keys are where they are supposed to be. I am glad that I chose the illuminate keyboard. Also comes with a built in rechargeable battery. Top product.

Picked this and a logitech mouse up at the same time for an office computer. Had to switch to new stations twice and it works fantastic on both of them! Long battery life is a huge plus.

I love the feel and quiet sound of this keyboard. My favorite feature is how the keys light up as I place my hands on them and turn off when I'm not typing. I don't have to have my desk lamp on to see the keys anymore. Excellent value. Simple charging with an included USB cable, and the charge lasts a long time. I wouldn't go back to a Microsoft keyboard after this one.

Have to get used to the key touch. Easy to use. Love the light up. is compatible with the computer. Also like the wireless. You get a mouse with it, but it isn't wireless. Also comes with a universal receiver to add a mouse. Bought a Logitech wireless mouse had to go to Logitech site to download the use of he mouse. I did that, but it still is not working correctly. Hope to get that working better soon.

My main reason for purchasing was because I was looking for a backlight option. I work long hours and not being a top notch typist I find that working late into the evening the backlight feature is a must have.

Got it at a great price! Love the quiet touch keys compared to the old clunker keyboard I used to have. I needed the light up feature because my keyboard sets in a pull out tray that's dark and this is PERFECT!

Great wireless keyboard. I wanted something that lights up so I can see they keys at night while I have the lights out as to not bother anyone else in the house and it was exactly what I wanted. Affordable. The keyboard only needs charged a couple times a month (depending on usage of course). It has a nice feel to it and works just great.
