Didn't want to spend a lot of money because I don't need a "smart" mouse. I read a lot of the reviews, which were very helpful, especially the ones that gave instructions where to find the dohickey thingy in the battery compartment. I ordered it for home delivery and it arrived sooner than scheduled. My computer is Windows 8.1 and, I was still nervous about installing the new mouse. PIECE OF CAKE!! Took the dohickey thingy out of the battery compartment, plugged it into the port in the computer, inserted a battery and IT WORKED! So, THANK YOU to everyone who posted a review and gave instructions. This is a bit smaller than my old mouse, but I have small hands so it works very well. Hope this one lasts as long as the other one did. Stay safe and well.

Both a regular size by mistake first and took right back to the store. The Logi brand is also very trustworthy. You also can't beat the price.

Very light weight. Works with just one AA battery. The light on the bottom is invisible but don't let that fool you-it works!

It has really long battery life and works on most surfaces such as work tables and outdoor patios. THe mouse is lightweight and very rugged.

Easy and Affordable solution

This fixed it. We ordered the red, but the top piece is red, too. So, it is basically red with black highlights rather than the black with red highlights shown. Not a problem. It comes with a AA battery that will be easy to replace when that time comes. Very happy so far. Plug in and play.

I wasn't sure what to expect, so my expectations were low. I was pleasantly surprised. Even though the cost was low it performs just as well as more expensive units.
