I use thumball exclusively so the cordless makes this really versatile. I even use it for my tablet. It's also handy when space is tight, no moving a mouse around.

I have used a variety of input devices, this is my favorite one by far. As a graphic artist, having a trackball for particular tools (frequently used such as in Illustrator or Photoshop) is invaluable. As an example, the action of picking up a mouse and setting it down again can mess up a line you are drawing. A trackball greatly reduces and even eliminates this issue. Also, being able to spin the trackball enables much faster movement across a screen or multiple screens compared to a mouse. This particular trackball is controlled by the thumb, which I find to be the easiest and most comfortable method for me.

Installed in seconds. Very accurate tracking and a pleasure to use. High manufacturing quality. Does everything I want easily. I am afflicted with arthritis and this track ball is practically painless. Traditional mice cause pain after a very short time.

Use this as my work mouse, since I have to do a lot of clicking every hour as I work. Much easier on my hands than a traditional mouse, and this is at a decent price point as well. (There are more expensive ones at Best Buy if you want to spend more). They changed the branding a bit on it, but still the same device. My previous one lasted ~4 years, but the buttons finally wore down after hard use in an office environment, so I feel I got my money's worth, and it's why I purchased the same one as a replacement.

I love this trackball mouse! After dealing with aggravating pain from using a small mouse and banging on a tablet with a stylus, I needed something that keeps my hand and fingers spread wide. I was able to easily adapt to moving the trackball in a day or two and love how fast I am able to negotiate around different applications with just my thumb action. The base of the trackball mouse remains stationary, which alleviates curser fatigue. This is run by one-AA battery, but wished this was a rechargeable unit like my other Logitech mouse. I also use this with a mousepad that has an armrest for extra support. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.

I had read about trackball mice and had seen a few in various offices I'd visited in the past but had never really wanted one. However, I work online and am on my computer for up to 17 hours a day. I wanted something that would keep me from getting tired or starting down the carpal tunnel road again. I am so glad I got this mouse -- it has made my work day so much better. I have no fatigue like I used to get from an ordinary mouse. The ball is very smooth and responsive and the scroll wheel is sturdy (the rubber peeled off the wheel on my last optical mouse). Highly recommend.

After my corded trackball by Logitech crapped out after 6-7 years of abuse, I bought this. I could not be happier. The product is fantastic, works flawlessly and looks great to boot!

I use this trackball with a laptop in my car on the ferry on the way to work each day. It works great. The buttons are programmable, which increases my productivity while waiting aboard the ferry. Prior to purchasing this trackball, I was trying to use a mouse, but I had difficulty finding a flat surface. At home I use a Logitech keyboard and mouse. All three use the same unifying receiver.

I've used the Logitech Marble Mouse for years but it's getting harder to find it on the store shelves and I've always been disappointed by the lack of a true scroll wheel. This covers all the basic needs, is smaller and the USB dongle is the newer shorter design, which is ideal for laptops. The only drawback is that it takes some time to get used to using the thumb as opposed to the index and middle fingers.
