I am 50/50 programmer/casual user with this keyboard. They keys are quiet, and have a small but soft range of motion. The bottom of the keyboard is not foam, but rather a plastic that gives you a nice feel and relative resting height. The addition of a numerical pad is nice as my significant other is an accountant. The shortcut keys work immediately with windows 7. I especially like the volume controls and buttons for browser (previous page, next page, favorites (works in IE and Firefox, but apparently not Chrome), and calculator. The mouse is slightly bigger than some, which is actually a better fit (and I have small fingers). No keys are backlit (typically of wireless... just think of the batteries), but CapsLock does have an indicator light. For this price you simply cannot beat this deal, especially if you are a bed/couch browser/user. (hold Ctrl and use the scroll wheel to obtain a size that you can see from that distance.)

Obviously easy installation as in plug-and-play but best of all that Logitech has always high quality products. My wife loves this Christmas present since the old wired mouse was beginning to slow down somehow and constantly needed cleaning the dust in the track ball housing.

Very reliable wireless keyboard/mouse combination with the tiny unifying receiver which seems to work well no matter where you connect it: under the desk, behind the monitor, etc. The batteries are all installed, you just have to remove the Yellow plastic pull tabs for the batteries to make contact and you're done. It couldn't be any easier.

Great keyboard and mouse. On/off switches increase battery life. Slim design on full size keyboard and three button laser mouse. Both are very responsive. Typical to Logitech, I expect this combo will last for years. Highly recommend. Can't beat price.

I bought the Logitech mk520 Wireless Keyboard and mouse combo from the recommendations that I read hear.. I have not been disappointed. It is plug and play, Keyboard and mouse have a solid feel, excellent response time. and and wireless coverage. I'm writing this from my bed with the computer on the floor 10 feet away to side from me hooked up to my 39 inch HDTV(Yes the mouse works on the bed lumps and all no mouse pad needed. I have been using it for a week now and I am one happy pappy.

Nice to look at, and operate as they should. We have had no issues with the keyboard or mouse.

I bought this item more than a year ago and have used them daily ever since - through fairly heavy travel. Simply outstanding performance! Little or no lag, keyboard is quiet and has very good action, mouse works great and is comfortable. Highly recommend!

my old key board went bad bought this to replace it. smaller the wireless gives me no problems so far iam happy with it.

This mouse and keyboard are very much worth the price. VERY EASY to set up, works perfect. Nicer than the generic keyboard & mouse that came with my computer originally. Perfect wireless!!!! Love it.

I'm not overly techy, but this REALLY is something you have to try out to appreciate. I've never seen the use in having cordless/wireless accessories, and I'm now a believer. We had to move our computer into the kitchen for some family emergency household arranging. The keyboard, for the most part, sits in a desk drawer. When you want to spend time typing a little more, it nice to pull it out of the drawer, without all those WIRES, and be free to do what you want to do. You can roll back the chair, sit across the room...it's great. Battery hasn't died yet, and we have left the power on ALL the time since we got it. VERY happy with this purchase and would recommend to ANYONE.

I bought a Microsoft 800 wireless desktop set and it worked great, but I needed something with a bigger Escape key. This was the one. It is just the right size , the key layout is comfortable and the caps lock key has a light, something still a little rare on wireless keyboards. The sound up/down keys work with Linux also (Ubuntu 10), as does the Print Screen. It is just under 7.5 inches deep so just fits in my Fellows keyboard tray, and it is low profile, allowing me to slide the keyboard tray under the desk when not using it. This was also true for the Microsoft 800. Both are fine products. This one is larger and more expensive, so it is just a matter of preference. I gave the MS 800 to my wife and she is very happy with it. I found some old web flames about Logitech not being compatible with Linux, but this is no longer so, at least for this product. At $60 it is a little pricey, but it is the cheapest one I could find that would fit the tray, and had the features I wanted.

Not too expensive for the two products. Also they are easy to use.

Both the wireless keyboard and mouse are handy to use. The extra keyboard features are convenient, especially the calculator and sound mixer buttons. But this is my first wireless set and I keep forgetting to turn off the mouse to conserve the battery.

I just purchased the Logitech - MK520 Wireless Keyboard and Mouse Combo and I am very pleased. The mouse is easy to use and scrolls easily though a web page. The keyboard is solid and very responsive to the touch. Great design on both products!!

Researched keyboards to replace the one that came with Dell XP that I never liked. Found this one that had all that I wanted and was surprised to find that Best Buy had it for $20 less than all other stores and online sites. Was so easy to set up (just plug in USB) and you're on your way. Great keyboard loaded with excellent features that I never knew existed compared to my old standard keyboard.. And the mouse that came with it was an added bonus. Excellent purchase from Best Buy.

I bought this keyboard and mouse to replace a broken keyboard and track pad on a laptop. I thought that I wouldn't work out of the box and there was some complicated setup that I wouldn't be able to do since my existing keyboard and track pad weren't working but I just plugged in the dongle, turned the laptop on, and once it recognized the dongle, it recognized the mouse and keyboard instantly. Great product to have. Now we use it on our smart TV to search the web and whatnot.
