Customers are saying

Customers regard the Orion Spectrum G910 keyboard highly, praising its build quality, RGB backlighting, and satisfying key feel. Many appreciate the ease of use and extensive customization options, along with the positive comments on the software and lighting effects. However, some users express dissatisfaction with the wrist rest, finding it uncomfortable or poorly designed. The lack of a USB passthrough is another frequently cited drawback.

Awesome Keyboard, fully programable to meet your needs. LED lighting can be tailored to your personal desires. I've had no issues except when I accidently spilled water on the left side where my primary movement keys are, I was non-stop movement for a bit because the water completed the keyboard connections. A quick blast of air dried it right out with no problems. I'm not saying it's waterproof, I'm just saying mine survived a typical equipment destroying accident with no issues! It's fast and responsive.

I love this keyboard! I switched from a Razer BlackWidow Chroma to this. I was skeptical at first first, but fell in love with it. The keys do not have a "clicky" sound and they are easy to type with. I am very satisfied with my switch.

Great Keyboard, Some Improvement over G910 Spark

Personally, I have owned the Logitech G910 Orion Spark since fairly shortly after its initial release... And while its angled keycaps, and asymmetrical wrist rest were somewhat divisive, I have absolutely LOVED it. The Romer-G switches are a very unique, and subjectively great entrant into the mechanical gaming keyboard realm, blending the shorter throw, and softer actuation of membrane boards with the speed and tactile sensitivity of the traditional Cherry or other switches. As to this keyboard, the G910 Orion Spectrum, which is currently a Best Buy exclusive version of the earlier Orion Spark, with a now straight wrist rest, and the change back to more traditional, cylindrical keycaps... This is about the same for me as the Spark; I love it. All the previous benefits apply, from the Romer-G switches, to the perfect lighting, great software support for macros and other programming customisations (save for Arx, which is a bit of a joke, in my opinion), and the wonderful amount of thought that went into designing the ergonomics that make this (these) keyboard(s) such a pleasure to use. Now, as they are primarily intended to be marketed at gamers, the aesthetics may seem a bit gaudy, but not quite so bad as Razer. And honestly, my newfound love for Logitech's new switch would likely make it easy for me to forgive any other shortcomings, were I able to think of any to mention. I work in IT, data center management, and server administration, so I am often using my keyboard for so much more than gaming, and I have never found something that felt as comfortable, for me, to use for either work or play, and feel equally at home. Hopefully this doesn't sound like too much a an advertisement, but I really do love this keyboard, and my subjective view is that it is a fantastic option, IF you like the feel of the switches. If you don't, then none of the current Logitech mechanicals will thrill you (G910, G810, G410, etc.)... However, I feel that the blend between feeling like the more common membrane boards, the quietness of the actuation, along with the solid tactile sensation make for a wonderful alternative to the now very old Kalih and other switch options on the market. And if you're feeling really adventurous, the G910 Orion Spark, with its asymmetrical design, and differently molded keycaps is similarly worth a shot. Happy fragging.

I bought this as a replacement for my G510 that i had for YEARS & it does NOT dissappoint. I kind of wish it were wireless with the same powermat tech the G903 Mouse has as an accessory but it's an amazing keyboard and i wouldn't trade it for another. Even bought the extended warranty so i could swap it out just in case. :) (USB port required - most of us have these available but i figure i'd answer the question before it got asked.) I'm not sure about MAC compatibility but who wants a Mac anyway?

Which some people like. I don’t mind a little more of a mechanical feel but these keys activate quickly and the keyboard is comfortable and RGB lighting is slick. No USB ports on it kinda sucks tho.

Pro: Good feeling when pressing the key. Not too hard that make me feeling tired, not too soft to feel the reflection from the key. The shortcut of the audio control is very convenient. Install-free, just plug and use. Con: The RGB color backlight is annoying. It keeps changing and is somewhat distractive. There is a shortcut to turn it off but I haven't figure out how to make it into a fix color. Also there are a couple of Macro keys that is so close to F1-F4 keys, which sometimes I misclick when I'm trying to use F1-F4.

Major upgrade from the stock keyboard that came with my computer. Keys are big, and have that satisfying clicky noise without being annoying(if that makes sense). The RBG lights are dope, and it's cool when games have preset lighting. Logitech is my favorite brand for computer accessories, so this was an obvious choise. It's cool to be able to set which keys are which color.

I like the feel of the romer-g keys, but I think the keyboard is a little too tall for my preference. The macro keys are nice too.

This keyboard was worth every penny. I have had ergonomic keyboards for years and while great they all succomb to the same problem. The digital mats just wear out. This keyboard has the feel of the original typewriter keyboards along with the click and response. I can easily type 60 - 80 words per minute on this keyboard without the problem of the dupplicate characters you get with other keyboards.

So I want to say that this keyboard is great. I love the macro keys along with the profile keys on it. The dial for volume control is very nice as well as the media controls. As for the feel of it, it does feel a bit more like plastic than other mechanical keyboards I’ve used. It’s not as loud as some others so that’sa nice touch. Overall it’s a really great keyboard for the money considering your alternatives. If you want to go for a high end professional feel, j recommend getting a higher end keyboard. For casual gaming or wanting to try getting into professional gaming, this is definitely a good start.

Overall I like this keyboard. This is the first one I’ve had with lighting but wasn’t sure if I’d like it. Because of the customization options, I love it as I can control the color of each key making certain keys easier to find, and do things like highlight which keys I have assign a macro to. And simple things like it has a Caps Lock light; my last keyboard didn’t. One thing it doesn’t have, though, is a Sleep key, which my last keyboard did and I miss it. lf it had one I would have given this a Five Star rating.

This keyboard is amazing. I personally find the RGB color backing of the keys to be unnecessary, but I don't use my keyboard in the dark nor do I look at it when I type. I am a software developer and use a keyboard for 8 - 12 hours a day. This keyboard is incredibly comfortable and easy to use. However ultimately returned it because of the G keys. For using as a regular mechanical keyboard (for everyday use), the G keys on he left side are really annoying. I kept hitting the bottom G key every time I wanted to use CTRL. I this is an amazing keyboard if used for actually gaming but I couldn't find a use for the G keys, even for using them as macros. So I ultimately returned the it in favor of a Logitech keyboard without the G keys.

The Romero G switches are less tactile than a true mechanical switch but still very satisfying, and good travel time. The RGB backlight on every key makes the colors really pop. Media controls are super useful and I wouldn't want to go back to a keyboard without them, and quality is great. All around a good keyboard the only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because of of the Logitech software you use to control the lighting, assigning commands to the macros, etc needs A LOT of work, but with that being said it's still probably the best system out there.
