Absolutely Superb
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. When I finally upgraded my iPad Pro, I knew I needed significant protection for the remarkably slim and (sigh) fragile device. I’m a student who takes all of my notes with an Apple Pencil in Notability. I wanted a place for my pencil when not in use. I don’t really use a keyboard that often but I needed a solution that didn’t look hideous (sorry, I’m not a fan of UAG putting their logos all over). Logitech always makes such well-made and nice looking products. The Slim Folio Pro, while expensive, fits that bill. It is professional looking while also maintaining Apple’s overall aesthetic (i hate how trendy that word is becoming...stop, you don’t sound sophisticated). The case does add a good bit of weight to the overall device-case combination. But I’m willing to carry a little bit more knowing that my iPad Pro is well protected and looking nice. I LOVE how the clasp will magnetically stow away when not in the closed use position (essentially it wont flap around when you are using the device). The keyboard is also excellent with good key travel, backlighting, and battery life. I DO wish Logitech had offered and additional viewing angle. But overall, this case is totally worth it and is built to last. Excellent job Logitech, five stars!

It’s great, but seems to defeat the purpose
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech Slim Folio Pro has me torn. On the one hand, it’s great, but on the other, it takes a svelte iPad Pro and turns it into a clunker. But let’s start at the beginning. Getting the iPad Pro into the case is as simple as any neoprene case. It just snaps in place. Pairing is also easy, just a quick Bluetooth connection. The case itself is rock solid. It feels like it’s built to withstand bumps and falls, and it would be right at home on a construction site. The keyboard is backlit and the keys have a good feel and travel. Overall it feels right to the touch. The case even has a spot to carry your Apple Pencil. And now the downsides. There is one small one - it is, of course, yet another device that you must remember to charge. And then there is the big one - do you really want your thin, sleek iPad Pro to look like it belongs on a construction site? The Slim Folio Pro is thicker - by a lot - than my HP Spectre or my Lenovo X1 Carbon. It also feels heavy. While I didn’t weigh them, holding the iPad and the Folio in separate hands, it feels heavier than the device it’s meant to protect. I travel a lot, so weight and size are critical to me. I’m also the person who carries an iPhone XS without a case. I got the iPhone and iPad in part because they are easy to carry, in part because they look good. Large cases destroy both of these advantages. Make no mistake, this is one very large case. The folio a solid, well designed, and well built device. But it’s not the device for me.

Easily the best Logitech case I've owned
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I love almost every Logitech product I have ever owned. Something about their attention to detail and quality has been hard to beat. I own a lot of cases for a lot of my portable devices and this seemed to be prefect for my iPad pro. It not only performed as expected, but actually better than expected. The case feels great right out of the box as is most Logitech products I have ever owned. It has a nice feel and weight to it and just feels good in the hand. The iPad snaps right into it and feels like a perfect and precise fit. I then attached the pen to the case's holder and it was the icing on the cake. Everything fits perfect and it it just feels like the iPad is in a complete package. The case then syncs to the iPad with no issues and you are able to immediately start using the keyboard. I loved typing on it and it feels organic even though it is compact. It even has quick launch iOS buttons that all worked. This is made for iPad and it shows. The keyboard itself has back lights and that makes a huge difference from all other keyboards I have used for my iPads. This is a very nice useful feature. Oh, and did I forget to mention that the pencil charges from the case as well? It does. I have been using it for over a week now and have not needed to charge it yet. I expect the battery life to be excellent. Overall, I really love this case and it has made a huge difference in the portability of my iPad, I love taking it with me everywhere now.

A Perfect Fit
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech - Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for Apple iPad Pro 12.9" is the greatest fit for your iPad Pro 12.9”. This case/keyboard is well made, almost rugged to a point and fits the iPad Pro perfectly. The edges of the case are rubberized, installing the iPad is easy and hold it in place nicely. It won’t slip out and offer protection to your iPad in case of drops. There are cases out there that are completely hard plastic and make installing the iPad difficult and eventually break from drops and every day use. The edges are also a bit raised so that when you close the case, your screen does not touch the keyboard. Folding the is easy as well. With a magnetic flap that hold the iPad in place when closed and also holds your Apple Pencil if you have one. Also holding it securely in the magnetic flap. When unfolded and having the iPad sitting in an upright position, it holds firmly and doesn’t budge very much. So touches on the screen won’t send you scrambling to catch the falling back iPad because of a hard touch. Keyboard backlights are a tricky thing sometimes. Many are too bright in a dark setting and some are not bright enough. This backlight is perfect in any setting of darkness. If you don’t like the default setting, you can also adjust it. There are many iPad cases and keyboards combos out there, I would definitely recommend looking at this before any others.

Superb Case for 3rd Gen iPad Pro
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The Logitech - Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for Apple iPad Pro 12.9" is an excellent compliment for the iPad Pro. It is packed with features that help to optimize using your iPad, such as keyboard shortcuts for opening Safari, controlling music and volume, and a backlit keyboard. The case is easy to setup. It connects to the iPad via bluetooth and works seamlessly with all of the native iPad applications. The battery life is very impressive. The advertised battery life is 3 months with 2 hours of usage per day. There is a battery indicator in the upper-right-hand-corner of the keyboard section to alert you of the battery status. Charging the case is easy, simply connect a USB-C cable. My one complaint is that the case does not include a USB-C cable, therefore you will have to obtain one if you do not have one from another device. However, that minor issue does not take away from how amazing the Logitech - Slim Folio Pro case is for the iPad. The structure and design of the case is excellent. It is durable and versatile. You can protect your iPad and even secure you Apple Pencil. I highly recommend the Logitech - Slim Folio Pro Keyboard Case for Apple iPad Pro 12.9".

Adds bulk, but good keyboard
|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The name of this device is a bit misleading. It is not slim, in fact it will make your iPad about as thick (or a bit thicker) than a MacBook. It does look slick and nice though. Set up was very easy and it connected to my iPad right away. I used it for several minutes testing it out and the battery level did not go down much. It says that will last for several days without needing to be recharged and it appears that it lives up to that. The keys seem to be more solid and the magnet that holds the unit in place for typing also turns on the keyboard which is a very handy feature. There were only a couple of drawbacks to this keyboard case though that resulted in the 4 stars instead of 5. #1 the device does not come with its own charger, but is also USB-C like the new iPad Pros are so you can use that cable to charge this device. #2 It also does not have a dedicated pocket for the Apple Pencil which is unfortunate. I want something to hold that $100 stick secure so that it is not lost. With this keyboard I find that I can use my iPad as a laptop with the added benefit of touch screen capability if I want it. Overall this appears to be a well built device that will hold up and last awhile. Very close to being a 5 star product.
