The Spotlight Software that makes this special does not work with macOS 14. I reached out to Logitech and was told "Yes you are right that Spotlight Presentation Remote is compatible with MacOS 10.2 or later as plug and play and remote will still work even without software. Though I understand you are looking for software for your macOS 14 however the Logitech presentation software is not yet compatible and no guarantee if Logitech have plans for future updates but you can also check Downloads - Spotlight Presentation Remote for more updates." macOS14 was released on September 26, 2023. I'm not sure why Logitech’s premier remote would not work with the current operation system.

Works well enough. Use it in larger spaces and most times it works great with the MacBook Pro - gotta figure out range limitations before presenting

Great clicker, but doesn't reach the distance what it says it reaches but for short distances it is a great clicker

I bought this pointer with high hopes, but found it tricky to navigate around a screen, and it would not connect when I needed it before a major presentation.

This was a big event for me and I did not want anything going wrong with my power point presentation. I looked at the cheaper ones but knew the would not last. This made my presentation run smooth, giving me a feeling of confidence. Another presenter also had the same remote controler and agreed that it was the best!

Works perfectly but it takes practice and some time. It’s not as simple as your basic red dot pointer I use to use

Just wished it had a laser pointer, but it was the only one left. Glad I got it.

It has some cool features but it does not click through effects on keynote.

I am very disappointed in this product. I brought it not even 2 years ago and it is failing to charge. It worked for about a year and a half. I contacted Logitech and they will not remedy the situation because it it out of warranty. Logitech acknowledged that it was a hardware issue, but failed to replace it. For over $100, something like this should work for more than a year!

This presentation remote is ALMOST perfect. If they added a laser pointer, it would be perfect. The pointing mechanism is not always as responsive as our presenters need it to be.

Great item but too bad it does not work on chromebooks.

I bought this and tested it. I thought the overall size of the remote was too big and the spotlight highlighter didn't move very smoothly across the screen. The slide switching buttons worked fine, however, I decided to return it. I have used the other logitech remotes and they work great.

The product works perfectly with my MacBook presentations. I do wosh that it had a laser pointer option.

Probably a great product if you use it a great deal. Its pricy especially when you have to purchase the software to get all the features.

I liked the idea of this, but the software did not work well.

This remote is exactly what we needed! We would recommend this to all.

This stopped working even before I started using! Comes with NO instructions. We found some in the Internet. Tested and it worked. When I tried to use it during a presentation, it would not work. Now I am stuck with this expensive product because BestBuy only gives you FOURTEEN days to return! Thanks a lot!

I installed the software on my Mac and it never worked or connected to the remote. Also, installing the software didn't work! There are remnants of it still on my tool bar... Disappointed, it look to be a great remote

Super easy to use. Requires no real setup. Very useful
