I went back and forth for a bit before purchasing this. There were much cheaper options that did everything I needed. But this had some pretty cool features that intrigued me, and ultimately, I bought into the gimmick. And I don't regret it. Yes, I paid more than I could have. And sure, the cheaper options would have been fine. But if what you do is present regularly, you might as well give yourself all the bells and whistles. As a clicker, this works fine. I've been using it for over a month and no issues so far. I've never really been a big fan of laser pointers - the dot is too small, hard to see in some lighting conditions, and while it's easy to point, you can only point to one screen at a time, which doesn't help much in a presentation space with multiple screens. If what you want as a pointer is a little red dot, the Spotlight Presentation Remote can simulate that for you. But it also offers the highlight (my favorite) and magnify options as well. As a teacher, magnify helps in my classroom setup as the display is really not large enough for the depth of the classroom, so it helps to magnify smaller bits of text or charts for the folks in back. And highlight is nice because it draws the eye and is much easier to find where the speaker wants you to look - much better than a red laser dot. I use this option all the time. And since these options (magnify, highlight and laser) all display digitally like a mouse cursor, they will display on each and every display being used for your presentation, meaning everyone can see what you're pointing at regardless of which screen they are seated closest to or which one you yourself are looking at. Aiming your pointer is a tad trickier than with a traditional laser pointer because it's not actually projecting from the remote itself, but it's not hard and you get used to it quickly. It's kind of like a video game motion controller, if you're familiar with those. The only real downside (aside from price) is that some of the features are only available if you install the necessary software on the machine you are presenting on, so some features will be locked out if you don't have administrator privileges on that machine. I personally just bring my personal laptop and connect to the presentation display that way, so it's not really an issue for me, but that may be a factor for you so I thought I'd point it out. Personally, I'd buy this again, and I'd recommend it for others unless you really don't use pointer features too much or if you don't have admin privileges on the machine you will be using to present. But if those aren't deal-breakers for you, I say go ahead and spend the extra and get all the gadgets.

Super easy to use, with great range and battery life

Excellent device. Easy in-store pick-up. Purchased as an out-of-town visitor as the one I had for work broke. Super easy process, and saved my presentation! Features are fantastic, although hard to sync with the app to get the highlighter to work. The timer function is fabulous.

Simply the best! I have one already, and since my work got me a new MacBook, I got another one to keep with my work MB. I love walking around when I present; this remote allows me to do that. In addition, the Logi Options+ software has great presenter tools, including a spotlight.

It truly is amazing how something so simple can perform so well. Very simple to setup, just plug in the USB and you are ready to go, It charges super fast with a USB cord and the lase/highlighter/magnifier simple to use and manipulate between them. I was concerned with the slim shape but it fits the hand well and is super light. Very impressive!

Exceeded my expectations. Easy to install and use. Advanced features not available on any other pointer. LOVE that you don’t have to be pointing at the screen to use it, you can be facing the audience, looking at your monitor and move your hand, and it will move the pointer on the main screen behind you. Excellent range and battery life. Would definitely recommend for all public speakers. Worked exceptionally well together with my PREZI presentation. Got the Gold color and coordinates well with my HP laptop. Don’t hesitate. Buy it and give it a try. You won’t be disappointed!

This has been wonderful to use. the range has been great (I've mostly used blue-tooth connections), the ability to customize functions was very easy in the software. and while at first it seemed odd to use a usb drive to give you the ability to present on remote computer (ones you don't own), it works seamlessly and keeps all your presets key commands. It doesn't hurt that other people are wowed at the spotlight effect. I needed a cursor and clickable function, this gave me all of that and more.

I absolutely love my spotlight Presentation Remote! I do ~80 seminars every year and I have never left home without it! I couldn't imagine doing my seminars without it. Easy to travel with, lightweight, compact and fits great in my pocket. Super-Duper 5 Star Rating!

This presentation remote is without a doubt the best there is in the price reflects it, but if you are trying to run presentations more than 100 feet away from your laptop this is the best way to go. The battery life is exceptional, the spotlight feature is really great and looks polished, and the range is ridiculous. I have toured all over the country with this remote doing hundreds of presentations and it has not failed me once.

This presenter was a great addition to my setup. The Bluetooth has been a great convenience. It would be nice to have a USB-C dongle as backup instead of the USB-A

This remote is a lifesaver for me! Now I can sit at the camera station at the back of our church sanctuary and run the PowerPoint presentation at the same time, even when I have to head up front to sing with the choir.

I’ve part of technology sales team and bought this one. I’m pleased with all the features it provides! I am using it at least once or twice a week! I liked, pointer/focus area as well as black out screen. N o need for extra batteries! Put it in charge for few minutes and it’s good to go for next presentation. All my colleagues loved this one!

Lately I have needed to present in rooms with LCD screens vs projectors and screens. The standard presenter remote and laser pointer will not work on an LCD screen, but this product has features that dim the screen and put a round highlight around an area you are attempting to draw attention to. I used this in a presentation on a campus recently, and the teachers commented on how easy it was to follow along and asked for the info to buy their own. It was very easy setup, and has worked like a charm. It only takes 4 minutes of charging time to get a good 3 hours of use, but when fully charged can go for weeks working just fine. Love it!!!

What a great presentation tool. Takes a bit to configure, with 2 separate apps that adjust settings. But great solution that works perfectly on any display (and perfect for virtual presentations on zoom or dual screen presentations). Great long lasting battery and the price is right.

I've been using it as part of my class, I really like the feel of it in my hand, its simplicity and the integration it has with the computer. One thing I would say is that I don't think it's great outside of personal use (or at the minimum just one computer), since the laser/spotlight/zoom option is behind the Logitech option apps. Bit on the pricier side too.

I do quite a few presentations as a consultant and have found this remote to be a great addition to my presentations. Easy to install and use. Works well with PowerPoint. I had to get used to the circle spotlight to highlight text as opposed to the old fashioned laser. Love the gold color.

The presentation remote works superb, probably the best i have ever seen. The spotlight feature is also something I have not come across yet, after using 4-5 such remotes until now. The only drawback, which forced me to give a less star, is that you need to install the companion software everywhere u want to use it. Otherwise, it won't work at all. It is not a simple plug and go kind of remote.

I waited to write a review until I used this a few times. I have used it several times in several situations with several programs. It has never not worked as it should. Easy to use, long battery life, and long range. I truly love using this.

This presenter was flawless. Install the software, plug it in, and it just works. Fast charge takes about a minute and lasts up to 3 hours, plug it in again during the break and you're ready for another 3 hours. Worked without any issue on our Macbook Pro.
