    If you are looking for general speakers to connect to your laptop these will do just fine. One thing that was not expected and I either missed it or it was not depicted in the description/pix that they have separate power plug. This should be pretty obvious (since this is not USB connection), but it was a surprise to me. Very minimalistic, which is what I wanted.

    I traded monitors with another person and the new one did not have speakers. I bought these for basic web surfing video playback. I would not recommend them if you plan on listening to music on your computer.
