I assumed when I purchased my new computer system that the new HP monitor would have built in speakers as my old one did; WRONG. So I had to purchase a speaker system separately. This system was moderately priced as so far has fulfilled my requirements adequately.

These speakers work as intended. They provide sound as they are suppose to. I can give them too low a rating due to the fact that I would purchase these speakers for my child's first computer. If I were to make the purchase again, I would purchase a better set of speakers for my family desktop setup.

When you play with the base and subwoofer settings, you can get a really great sound. However something seems to be missing, I can’t tell if the low levels on the speakers just start hitting. Or if the drivers are too weak. Overall a pleasant sound. But don’t expect us to replace reference quality speakers.

igot these speakers for my sons computer, he just uses these for the sounds and not needing anything high quality at this time, does the job.

The maximum volume is more than expected. Space savers!

great sounding mini speakers, at a wonderful price

Had been having problems finding a plug in speaker that was loud enough. This one is and am very happy with it.

If all you're looking for is great basic sound for your computer or MP3 player, these will work nicely. Don't expect BOSE quality sound, because you aren't going to get it, but they will amplify whatever you're pumping into them making it loud enough to hear across the room.

I went into the store looking for a new monitor because the audio was not working. I explained to the sales associate everything that I tried to get it back. He explained that I could use the speakers instead of buying a new monitor since I was not having a problem with the screen. The audio is really good. I would definitely recommend this to my friends.

Great gift for my Nephew and his pc set up and sounds great and you get the performance for the price don’t expect a home theater experience for under $50 speakers but great if you share a room, or hardly use speakers but want them

This is a speaker best purchased for older laptops. It produces good middle of the road sounds for the price. It's weak points are poor base sounds at the higher range. It's more than adequate for podcasts and other audio feeds. If you are an audio file this speaker is not for you.
