Max volume is pretty low though, and will barely fill up a small bedroom. I needed something small so these work fine for me though.

However, the wire connecting the two speakers together is not long enough. I have two 24 inch monitor side by side but can't put the speakers at the ends of the monitors without hiding the wire.

Volume knob doesn't control headphone volume

The only problem was the fact that the volume knob only controls the volume when there aren't headphones plugged in. Once you plug in headphones, you can only control the volume with the PC volume, so if it is at max and you need it louder, nothing will help. Will be returning.
