I wouldn't listen to music or expect high fidelity movie audio with them, but they get the job done for almost anything else

Awful for gaming and pretty bad for music. Also - the 3.5 mm cable is extremely short, so I had to buy extension cable...

Additionally, the short 3.5mm cable limits their usability. While they may be adequate for some, they fall short for more demanding audio needs

You wouldn't need much to install them, just an outlet and a pc, laptop, or phone (if it has a headphone plug) when you're connecting it to.
