This isn't a bass monster despite the included sub woofer. Don't expect mind blowing audio and settle for good audio and you will be satisfied. The bass is pretty subdued, but if you're adding this in place of PC monitor speakers, you will be blown away. The bass isn't bad, but it doesn't "hit". The 2 part of the 2.1 system sounds very good and I have no complaints. You're getting a good value and really great performance for the price. If you want audiophile, spend a few hundred bucks more. When I don't feel like wearing my audiophile headphones, I switch to these and enjoy the small and room filling sound. These are pretty exceptional for the ridiculously low price they sell for. Most will be satisfied, few will complain. The exception is audiophiles that demand the best.

Packaging is great as the amp comes in a little baggy with handle to easily pull out of the box. Wires are long in which you can set speakers pretty far if you pleased. I was stuck between this option and the $25 option and chose the Z313 because why not get a little more for $10. It’s an unbelievably great sound and volume for $35. I have JBL speakers as well and just can’t believe you can get all this for $35. If you’re considering getting this for your computer which is what I’m doing. I highly recommend. You cannot beat this for the price. Very well done Logitech. I’d love to represent your company in someway. Safe to say I’ll be buying more Logitech in the future!

I was looking for some inexpensive speakers for my computer which I just moved downstairs. I demoed these in-store and took them home on sale.
I am extremely pleased with my purchase. It would be very hard to find speakers that sound as good for this price point. I am not a snobbish audiophile, but I do work in the A/V industry. These speakers are very clear and transparent. They do not strain at high volumes and the sub-woofer stays tight at high levels as well. The remote control pod is a big plus.
When considering the price, I recommend these speaker whole-heartedly.

Are these the best speakers you can buy? Certainly not. Are these the best speakers you can buy for less than $100? I am convinced. I have a small apartment (850 sq ft) and the sound fills the entire room. The bass is amazing for 30 bucks. I read reviews on here before I purchased, but I was still hesitant: these are still $30 speakers, they can only be so good. I was wrong. The only speaker that I have that I think is better is a portable Bose speaker that cost $350. You do the math. You will not be disappointed in your purchase.

The sound of these small speakers shocked me. i didnt think that this great of a sound would come from such a small system. The bass is great, sounds great. I have seen better but for the price of $39.99 it was worth it. Its great for Big or Small rooms because you can controle the volume from a small controle.
The MOST UNDERATED speaker-subwoofer set there is!

The speakers are very clear and crisp, but the true hero here is the SUBWOOFER!!! Place this things in a corner of your house and you have yourself a $500 subwoofer! These are verrrrrry much worth it. Trust me! Here are some tips though
1.) Turn all of your program volumes to 99% for the best quality and adjust the speaker volume on the included remote.
2.) PLACE THE SUBWOOFER IN A CORNER!!! Seriously! You will be sooooorely disappointed at the bass if you don't.
3.) Don't put the volume TOO loud. Go as loud as you want, but don't do this a lot otherwise you will ruin your speaker's life span.

My choice for some desktop speakers came down to the Insignia store brand and the Sony set, all priced about the same. Luckily my local Best Buy had a demo set up for all of their speakers.
The clarity and base response from these speakers were the best between the three choices I had before me. Being someone who works with audio equipment all day my expectations for these speakers (being fifty dollars at the time) weren't very high, however I was pleasantly surprised.
My only gripe is that while there is a volume controller that allows you to control how loud or quite you want the speakers and sub to play, once headphones are plug into the controller you do not have the ability to control the volume or a pair of headphones unless you plug your headphones into the back of the sub woofer the way the speakers are connected. Aside from that these are GOOD speakers for the price.

I was looking for a decent set of computer speakers to get rid of the extra clutter, I had a full receiver and speaker set. Eventually I will get a higher quality set than these, but you really can't go wrong for the price. The volume is loud enough on full blast to fill an average room. I'm actually blown away by how much bass that little 4" sub woofer can produce. I put it to the test, there wasn't any clipping or distortion with the volume all the way up. It played Classical, Techno, Rock, Djent, and X-Men Days Of Future Past flawlessly!
Only Con so far is that the volume isn't adjustable via the included wired remote when you have headphones plugged in.

These speakers are very nice. Good quality highs and mids, and the subwoofer is accurate and punchy: a great addition at this price point. No reason not to get it really, it goes much louder than most people will ever need.

After my Insignias blew their woofer after less than 2 weeks, I replaced them with this Logitech 2.1 system. The first thing that impressed me was that Logitech actually shows their frequency response of 48-20,000Hz on the box. Nobody else posts their frequency response because it's nowhere near this good. Awesome sound listening to iTunes, and yes, I dialed these in using my real-time analyzer. These have no controls, so I used my computer's bass/treble controls to get as flat a curve as possible. Also, the price was less than the Insignias that didn't last. Love these speakers!

I bought these speakers mainly for gaming because my old system speakers stopped working and I didn't want to spend allot on speakers. These speakers get the job done and I am happy with my purchase. Installing the system was a breeze, very easy, they are a plug and play unit with no software/drivers to install. The sound quality is good from the speakers, they are pretty small and put out nice clean sound. The system is very compact so if space is a issue, these will work great.
Cons: The remote is wired to the amp, I don't like it, it should either be wireless or just built into the system. The speakers look cheap and are plastic, but as I mentioned above the sound is good so looks can be deceiving. This may or may not be a issue for some people but there are allot of wires with this system so get ready to bundle them together.
Over all I am happy with the system, Logitech is a good name and I would recommend these speakers to anyone who doesn't want to spend allot of money but wants a new system.

I got these when they were on sale for 29.99, which made them an exceptional deal. They sound great, compared to higher end models in the store, they sound a little tinny, but once you get them home, you'll love them. The sub is quite powerful.

I love this speaker system! The price was fantastic, the sound is clear and the added 4" subwoofer packs just enough bass for my small apartment. I also love that the bass volume can be controlled with the volume level of my computer yet the speaker volume is controlled evenly by both the volume level of the computer and the control pod that came with the system. This way, I can raise or lower the bass level without losing the sound volume. Very pleased with this purchase. I would recommend this to anyone who wants to add some bass to their pc for either a larger room or a small apartment (without upsetting neighbors).

My wife grabbed these speakers when I was buying a PC and I told her I would not consider using them (I looked at the price and based on that, I insisted they would not be good enough for us). When we got home she un-packaged them before I had another chance to stop her, so I begrudging hooked them up to prove my point. Imagine my surprise to finde the speakers actually sounded great. Ultimately, I won the battle and upgraded to more powerful speakers. Nonetheless, I have newfound respect for the potential values you can find in budget categories. I would wholeheartedly recommend these speakers to anyone that didn't have significantly more money to spend. When I purchase these speakers the price ranged from $35 to $50, the lower of which is a no brainer. At $50, I would begin to shop around...you never know what other bargains you might find.

For $35, this is hands down, the best sound investment for my computer I've ever bought. Sound quality is quite good. Anybody who says this doesn't have any bass, put Young Jeezy, Project Pat, or Lil Jon on. For a tiny system it makes quite a nice boom. Therein lies a problem. They didn't include a bass control on the remote. I live in an apartment, so unless I keep the volume down my downstairs neighbors are going to hear the boom of bombs and cannon fire in Red Alert 3 or whatever music I have on. So, in the event I want more volume, I have to plug my headphones in... But there's no headphone jack on the speakers... So I have to unplug the speakers and plug in my headphones (I get interference on my auxiliary headphone jack on my computer.) Setup couldn't be easier with this system. I highly recommend this system.

I purchased Bose companion 5 system on a whim. They sound OK but something was missing. After using for a few days and reading reviews, I decided to return them and get these. WOW and WOW again, these speakers provide it all, crisp highs, solid mid range and great bass. At 150 they are a complete steal. I read about the cracking nose, or one side going out. If you are having that issue, take a look online and there are videos showing how use WD-40 or tuner cleaner to solve that problem.

This little subwoofer has thump. Sure there are bigger, richer, more expensive systems, but this is more than enough for a private work space (not corporate - way too much for that).
Gospel music is very rich with Bass. I played several of my favorite tracks and the thump was GREAT! You cannot put it on your desk... unless you like everything vibrating. More than enough wattage for my home office (I can hear it in the kitchen downstairs).
Bottom line... Very clear Highs, rich bottoms, full sound. Tremendous value for $39.99. If you are doing production work get the higher end stuff, but to jam or game in your office space, Get this system!

I was looking for a relatively inexpensive set of speakers with decent sound quality to hook up to my new desktop, and I was very happy with these. Inexpensive, easy to set up, and great sound.

Let's be honest with ourselves. It's a $50 2.1 channel speaker set up. If anyone was expecting to have a Bose quality sound system with this they were joking themselves.
However, for the money, this is a great system. I've been using it for about a year and a half and am completely satisfied with the sound for the money that I put into it. The bass isn't overwhelming but you are going know it's there when there is bass in your music or movies.
I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a good speaker system on a budget. Best Buy does have another 2.1 set up I want, but it's 5 times the price of this one on sale. I'll upgrade eventually, but I am in no hurry.
