I bought these for our desktop and we are very pleased. Easy to set up and they sounds great. We decided to start with the cheaper set and see how they did and if they were not any good we would return and get the more expensive set, there was no need to return this set. Great sound and great price

I was able to use my rz account, and acquire these speakers for just $30! At first, i was a little weary on low costing speakers, but when i got them home and hooked up, i was shocked on the quality they put out!! So for the low price, and great quality, i would recommend these to any friend!!!

I read all the reviews before my purchase. Honestly, I can't, and don't want to, wrap my mind around some people and their reasoning for slamming products and/or other people. Seems to be the trend for "Reviews" and "Comments" columns, unfortunately.
For complaints about being able to adjust the bass or treble levels, most PC's/laptops sold in the past 5 years come with Realtek, or some form of audio customizing software, to support fine tuning the sound.
Come on, man! Out the door for less than $35 with a powered sub, a remote control that allows one to spread the speakers out for better separation AND plug headphones into? No, it won't fuel a RAVE, DISCO or Lamb of God concert, was never designed to!!
My system is on all day, 5 days a week for three months now, at low to moderate volume levels and I think the sound is SUPERIOR, FOR THE MONEY! It is a great desktop PC sound system!

When I saw these in the store I thought wow they are so tiny there is now way I am getting them and started looking at some more expensive models. I then hit the button on the display model for a sound test. Somebody had left the volume turned up really loud. I was floored that such big sound came from a tiny little set of speakers and sub. I consider myself an audiophile but am not an audio snob. Just because the speakers are cheap doesn't mean they do not sound good. With a little tweaking with the equalizer and different sound fields they sound even better. These are not going to win any db or loudness awards but at moderate levels they sound good. Way better than the old outdated speakers I have moved from computer to computer over the years. As for other people not liking the wired control pod, I love it! I don't have to reach all the way up to the left speaker to adjust. I keep it right by my mouse. So my advise is go for it for the price they can not be beat.

I was unsure about buying a Logitech item, but when I plugged this baby in and put the jams on, BOOM amazing quality and the sub is perfect. Caution: Do not turn all the way up before plugging in.

The speakers are worth the price, nothing more maybe less?, for a pretty good price you're getting pretty good speakers.
- The bass is there but not overpowering
- Speakers are clear & crisp
- Better at a half volume, deffinetly don't play them loud a lot
overall just a decent speaker i'd say ** 7.8 / 10 **

These are some great sounding speakers. The subwoofer gives it a rich, full sound. I don't much care for the controller. I would have preferred the same speakers in a sound bar, but I knew what I was getting when I bought it. I'm not going to take the overall rating down for that.
Hello, we are so happy to hear that you enjoyed using the Z313 speakers. Thank you so much for the honest review and we are grateful to have you in our Logitech family. Have a great day. -Ricky from Logitech

These speakers are really good. Got them a while ago and they still are working great. I can plug them into my laptop, iPhone, or bluray player if i'm taking it on the road and they sound fantastic! Price is amazing for what you get.

I was wanting cheap speakers with good quality sound and a good sub woofer so i just bought these and im blown away with how good the bass is not even half way turned up. I would recommend this sound system to everyone on a budget or even not on a budget.

I was surprise with the soud of this small speaker and small bass system. This product is good on laptop that have a good sound card or software that have a surround sound system but this only my own taste in music because it already have a good sound. It also good on desktop if you want a speaker for low price that have a good sound. It also good on portable music player that you have. Anyway I get this on the original price but if you get this for low price then you have a great deal on it.

Just upgraded my old speakers and for the price couldnt ask for anything better. Crisp sound, great bass. Good on the high tones as well. Highly recommend if youre not looking to spend top dollar.

Was easy to set up just plug in and it works. Sound quality is great for the price. Has a slight bass to it but ok. Would recomend to anyone wanting a low price dual speaker set.

I don't consider myself needing the highest audio quality. These sit on my desk, so they are close, and I don't blast them. They do sound very nice. I do like the chorded remote to control volume and on/off. The previous speakers died and were much bigger. I don't miss them. These are perfect for your desk, maybe not for the living room or game room.

These speakers are really good, so good I'm writing a reveiw on them they are loud the bass does not crackle and they seem like they should be double possibly triple the price I paid for them. Well worth the $50 and would defiantly recommend them.

We've been watching our favorite TV shows online for 2 years. CBS shows are recorded with low volume. We had the volume setting on our PC at 100 (its max). Still couldn't hear some of the dialogue without turning off the furnace!
We decided to splurge on external speakers for our PC. Found these on sale for $40. Just $10 more than the 2-spkr Logitech model, but 10 times the sound. Now we can watch our shows with the volume setting below 25!
Nice clarity and tone range. For our purposes, no problems with bass reverb.
Our only frustration is that the location of the control makes it impossible to hide most of the cables. But that's minor given the great quality. Logitech delivers again!

This is 100 times better than the cheap speakers that came with my computer. The woofer is great. Inexpensive. Very happy with it. (But I'm not trying to get super high fidellity).

Overall, I would say great product for $40. I wouldn't spend more than $50. With the advancement of technology, I would EXPECT this kind of quality for a low price given the competition out there. 10 years ago, I would've spent well over a $100 on the same product. I always expect a great Logitech product.
My main gripe is the sub woofer doesn't have a bass control which I sort of expected. I think it's far easier to adjust the bass from a woofer than it is to mess around with the equalizer on winamp or wmp.
The bottom line though is, it's a great product for crisp highs/mids and moderately rich bass all for $40!! Great for college dorms or apartments that have thin walls where a louder system would have been a nuisance to neighbors.
