I was looking for a set of speakers, that would allow me a chance to really hear the music. I read many reviews on-line, and these speakers were the ones that had good reviews for listening to music. After purchasing them, connecting them, and getting them adjusted for the room, they blew me away. The clarity, and quality of sound are very impressive. I like Heavy Metal, and these speakers pack the punch necessary for this type of music.

For budget priced speakers they sound very good. Volume control is a plus. Good bass and good highs.

I have been living with these 2 Sony 2" speakers meant for a walkman or something and they had no amplification, so it was better with no sound. Now that I have a desk with space to put stuff on I get powerful sounding sound from this 3 speaker system and no longer have to blast a full stereo system from another room to enjoy music etc.

I discovered the monitor I bought didn't have built in speakers, so I checked out several speakers at Best Buy. I didn't need room-shattering sound, just something to give me good sound for the times I needed it. These speakers with the subwoofer more than fill the bill. For $30 the sound is outstanding. I am very pleased with this purchase. If you want great sound for the money, this is a great choice.

This is a nice set of speakers for the money and good quality. It is a three speaker set and for most home pc use the third speaker does not add much, particularly if you are using sound mostly for Skype. Also I found I had to locate the third speaker under the desk since it is a bit larger than normal pc speakers.... Still a good set of speakers for the price.
