For less than $30 you just can5 go wrong with this 2.1 speaker setup. I thought I was going to just get by with these as sometimes I don’t want to wear headphones for gaming and music. After hooking them up I was pleasantly surprised at both the quality and volume level I get from these. I put the “subwoofer” under my desk and it easily puts out enough to make explosions and gun fire sound excellent. Are they audiophile or will they blast you out of the room? No, but for the price I highly recommend them!

After reading the reviews from other people on here that wrote, I got out of the house and drove to best buy to pick up these speakers for my sons computer because his old ones never really worked well. Well I must say they sound a lot better. We had to have him turn the volume down because the base was rumbling the walls.. Thank you best buy!!

Just purchased these speakers as an upgrade to my original HP speakers. As per other reviews, they are a bit heavy on the bass end. My main complaint is that they emit an electric buzz when not in use, even if they are turned off. You have to unplug the subwoofer unit to get them completely silent. Not convenient if pluggen in behind your couch or whatever. Also, take care not to stick your fingers through the subwoofer speaker which is located at the bottom of the unit, and has no grill protection whatsoever. Not a great design. But, for the money, these are really good speakers.

I just bought these today and they are amazing deal for the price. I compared with other speakers, there was Insignia speakers and subwoofer for same price but they sounded weak compared to these. These sounded like $50-70 speakers. I haven't even turned them up pass 30% volume and they are vibrating my desk and floor. Great product!

Got this on sale for $40 I think. Good sound for a small, inexpensive system. Pros: clean sound, decent bass, headphone jack on wired remote. Cons: no separate bass volume adjustment

    Great System For The Price

I purchased this product after reading several reviews. I'm glad I decided to bite the bullet and purchase the item. Set up is a breeze. Considering the size of the speakers, they give some punch. The sub packs some bass. The thing I don't like about the system is you can't control the amount of bass. Given the price I paid, I say I got a pretty decent speaker system for my laptop. I recommend this system for someone who doesn't want to spend a lot of money for a system for their computer.

Brings the bass AND the boom!

I wanted to kick up the audio on my six-year old Asus computer, and I saw some great reviews on the Logitech Z313, (AND they were on sale!), so I decided to order it. +1! - The unit arrived sooner than I expected, Thanks, BestBuy! +2! - Once I opened the package, the installation directions were printed right there on the inside flap. In fact, it took me more time to shed the packaging materials than it did to set up. +3! - I ran a test on the speakers using the 2008 Iron Man trailer. I only needed a little adjustment to the subwoofer audio control, and a little separation of the speakers to get optimum placement and terrific sound! The speakers not only handled the boom from a superhero movie, but also caught the small details like the swishing of ice cubes in a cocktail. +4! For all this power, the speakers have a very modest footprint on your workspace, and their sleek design and black/silver color scheme keeps the look classic and understated. Nice. From opening the box to actual use, I see no minuses here. For only $30, the Z313 will give you the most bang for your buck.

This speaker system sounds fantastic. Upgraded my new Del Inspiron, which had old speakers from 2004. Very easy to hookup and convenient to use with control module. I'm blown away by the sound. Gotta hear Zappa on these speakers. You won't be disappointed. Zetta.

Wasn't sure whether to believe all other excellent reviews for these given the price but for $29 on sale it was worth a shot. These are fantastic, the bass sounds like it is from a much larger speaker set, very clear. I used with an all in one PC, what a difference. Can't believe the quality here. Highly recommend.

I was reading some of the complaints about the bass on this unit and I can only say that my unit produces ample bass. Keeping in mind that this is not a high end surround sound unit with all the bells and whistles, I was frankly extremely pleased with the overall sound of this unit. This was a replacement for a blown up Creative Gigaworks 5.1 system and the sound is nearly comparable at moderate volume levels. Granted it won't make your ears bleed, but if you want a very nice sounding set of speakers at a really good price, these will do very nicely indeed.

I've had this speaker system for at least 4-5 years which is the main reason I felt obligated to write a review. For the price this system cannot be beat. It offers great bass and sound quality and even works decently for hearing enemy footsteps while gaming. They're also super durable they've survived multiple moves and still work just as well as the day I bought them.

I bought these speakers for my home office which is about 12X12. They work really well in this sized room. They were very easy to set-up and are hassle-free to use. For my purpose I rate them very high. You would not choose these for a larger room where you want to blast the music. For the price, they are a great deal for a small room.

Very happy with the quality of the speaker system. Unlike some that are very loud but unclear, or clear but not loud at all, these have found a happy medium. Sure these are not going to rock out a stadium but they are more than adequate for home use. The sound quality is very good, can actually get some low bass notes out of it. And for 30 bucks you cant go wrong. It has a wired volume control which is a nice idea but kinda ugly looking. If you are looking to play music or play video games I would say this is perfect. And 30 bucks!!!

I've been toying with the idea of upgrading the office sound system for my 17-inch laptop. But this basic Logitech 2.1 system is still going strong. The subwoofer has some real oompf to it, and the stereo desktop speakers are clear and satisfying. If I do go for an upgrade, I'm hanging on to these Logitech speakers. I paid less than $40 for them in 2011 and they still sound brand new. Good value.

Great speakers for those who want great sound with a small footprint. Wires are long enough to accommodate various configurations. I like having the volume and power controls on a separate unit. Of course that's an additional wire, but it gives you the ability of controlling the speakers from a more convenient location then to have to reach for the speaker itself. Logitech os a great brand and I would definitely buy again.

WOW! i tried them out at the store and couldn't believe the sound that was coming from these speakers. they sound as good, in my subjective view, as the $100+ systems of similar design. if i had to point out one negative thing, it would be the wires for the volume control. it would be perfect if it were wireless, but it's really not that big of a deal. i use it on my MBP laptop, so it is actually convenient to be able to plug it in and move it where i want. the sound is exceptionally clear and responsive, much more so than you would ever expect from a $55 set of computer speakers. i would gladly spend my money on these speakers again. they are bound to be the best deal out there. if you are looking for a great set of affordable speakers to boost your listening pleasure, LOOK NO FURTHER.

Bought on sale for $29.99 for my boys' computer. Had to set the computer to a slightly lower sound quality output to get rid of some mid range distortion. Once tuned in, they sound fine and the subwoofer provides surprisingly good low end. They are small but have a nice look to them with the silver and black color combination. Can't really go wrong at this price point.

The people that are writting poor reviews need to get off the pipe. For $35 the sound is great the speakers where easy to install. If they are looking for something better spend the money. I am very pleased with the sound quality. I listen to classic rock and blues on my computer when I'm working and I think the sound is great. I had Harmon Kardin speakers that I lost in the divorce and these sound better.

i bought these with a gift card i got for Christmas, and so far i love them, good sound quality with my music, movies, and games, the bass is a lot deeper than i thought it would be, especially since there isnt a bass control (other than your pc) and the highs and mids it hits are pretty impressive for $40. these sound better than some speakers sets ive had in the past and paid way more for.
