I've setup countless PC speaker systems over the last several decades (yeah, I'm older). These are nice looking, affordable units from a trusted manufacturer that look great on my daughters school/fun computer desk. The install was easy and straight forward - just plug in and go. They sound good right out of the box and expect this to improve after they break in. Note to those who are new to speaker technology: well-made speakers always have a break-in period where the cone material becomes more flexible after several hours of use. Initially the tone can be harsh with too many highs, but because more full spectrum as the speaker cones move. The more high-end the speaker brand, the greater the difference you'll hear between initial power-up and a fully broken-in speaker, so always give them time. The reason for four stars: As mentioned in other reviews, the volume output seems low considering the speaker size, and they're a little under-powered; loud enough for a desktop PC but if you're seeking something for the entire room, you'll want to look for something with more wattage/power and larger cones. Also, the on-off switch / volume controller didn't turn well at first and seemed to spin backwards, almost like it's spring loaded. It has improved with some use but only time will tell if it lasts. Final result: for the money, you definitely can't go wrong and no regrets here.

I purchased this speaker set after reading and watching many reviews on different versions of the same Logitech line. The z533 sounds pretty good for playing games and listening to music. I am not much of a sound expert, so I don't know if they are good enough for professional use, but definitely worth it for a casual user. The sound knob controller is pretty handy for adjusting the volume. Overall, I would highly recommend.

Love the sound, it took less than 5 minutes to install. The look of the speakers are very stylish, I highly recommend these speakers they are a great value for what you get.

I use these speakers for music at work so I can't turn them up too loud normally, but I have and they have nice sound quality. Good bass and they are clear. They can definitely fill up a small room nicely. If you have static when adjusting the volume, exchange them immediately. I had this problem on my first set of these and the right speaker went out months later. I liked them so much I got the same model when replacing.

Logitech – Z533 are the best computer speakers I've purchased. The sound is crisp, clear and gives that kick when the song hits the right note. I love that it does come with 100 mini speakers and sub woofer but delivers the same quality sound with two and one.

Listened to these in the store - was impressed with how much clear sound they produced. The satellite speakers are very bright, which I happen to like and the sub woofer is adjustable which is a major plus. Love the control disk that sits in the corner of my desk - very eay (and kinda fun) to control the volume and bass from one "puck". Really glad I got these for my wife and myself!!

Almost bought a cheaper system. Glad I bought this one. It works fine for my desktop computer. The desktop power and volume control is easily within reach and works great. Most of the work I do on the computer doesn't require sound, but when I need them, these speakers are decent quality for music, TED talks, etc.

the Logitech speakers work fine and look good with the pc

I was skeptical at first buying a cheaper Logitech speaker system, but immediately I was impressed with the crisp high notes and the sub has a nice rich bass tone. I also love the Volume control - it makes turning up or down quiet / load people on conference calls a dream.

I had an older Creative 7.1 setup that was incompatible with my new PC, so I bought this set because it was on sale. Well, I was completely surprised when I got them setup and turned on. This is the best sounding set of PC speakers I have ever heard. Easy to setup. Desktop volume and bass module is great and has headphone jacks.

The price is steep, however they do the job. The speakers themselves are great!

I was only looking for a small speaker system for a desktop, got more than I was expecting. It is decently loud for such a small cheap system. With it almost full blast, my one son was in the basement with gaming headpbones on and could still hear it clear as day...and not hear his game. My only complaint is its wired volume control, gets in the way if you don't find a home for it.

Quality speakers for the cost. Below end is decent and mid’s and high’s are solid. Well worth it!

These speakers are awesome! Sound crisp and great base for a computer speaker. I typically turn the volume up and listen throughout the house as I'm cleaning and it fills the home with great sound.

Very nice sound for the price. Super easy control for volume and bass boost. Easy to assemble and playing right out of the box in less than 10 minutes.

I had been using the same 2.1 PC speakers I had for over 10 years and they finally stopped working. I saw the positive reviews for this set and they exceeded my expectations. They look nice and sound great. The bass feels great and doesn't ever get distorted even at max volume.

I use these for both Jamie and for blasting music, and it’s honestly perfect. The quality is amazing. And I mean that in reference to both the product itself, as well as the quality of the sound. The volume knob just feels like part of a hi-fi set up. The quality of the base alone is enough to make your neighbors jealous
