I've had these speakers for almost 2 years now, and they are absolutely great, especially for the value. You really can't beat it especially for the price point.

I returned a less expensive Logitech 2.1 model because the it lacked bass and overall punch. I hesitated on the Z623 because I thought it might be overkill. Although the speakers are a bit large for my desk space, I made it fit, and the sound is amazing. The right speaker has bass control and a power button. A comparable Klipsch set now selling at Costco has the power button on the subwoofer, which I wouldn’t like. I’m no audiophile, but these are the best computer speakers I’ve ever heard.

might buy these again for my record player. They're so tight, so punchy, controls are conveniently placed on the speakers...
The speakers have this great build to them that makes me think, "wow, Logitech put some quality in this set for once in their lives." They have a very solid build with a smaller form factor than most powered speakers, which means that I have what feels like 50-pound computer speakers.
And best of all, unlike my Bluetooth speakers, they don't infect my computer with coinminers!

I had the Klipch system for awhile and liked it, but I hated the fact that it was always on and sucking electricity. I cannot notice any difference in sound at all and I love the fact that I hit a button and the entire system is OFF. I like that I am not wasting electricity anymore and the system is compact and great. I highly recommend it. I do not use this as my primary sound system, but do use it for my small home office when playing music and watching vids. The mega sound system is in the living room where it should be.

I bought these speakers to replace an old stereo system I would use to listen to music or videos on Youtube. I admit my stereo system is rather large and I was dubious that these small speakers could stand up to the challenge of replacing the sound those could produce, but they've by far outshined them. I enjoy all ranges of music between heavy techno to several symphonies. They handled it all marvelously. If you're on the fence you definitely will not regret buying this pair of speakers.
