I found these speakers on sale at my Best Buy and jumped at the chance to buy them. These speakers are a great value at around 100 bucks and will compete with the big name brands easily. They offer great performance in games without the gimmicky RGB. The only issue is that these speakers seems to struggle a little at low volumes. Just tweak the settings a bit and it should clear up.

Don’t get me wrong, these sound great for their intended use. However, I returned mine because i like speakers with more warmth. These carry a lot of hot high frequencies. The sub woofer REALLY thumps, but again, I like my sub to have presence, warmth, and thump I want it to (which isn’t ask the time). So i swapped this out for a pair of Edifier bookshelf speakers and an Elac 10” sub. Cost less, and sounds better ( for my taste). If you want something with clear and sharp highs and thumping lows, this Z623 could be the setup.

For those who enjoy listening to music or movies on their computers, I would HEAVILY encourage you to consider the THX certified Logitech Z623 speakers. Awesome, rich sound that non-THX speakers cannot match. This is sold at a great price and will richly reward the user with exquisite sound that will put a smile on your face! These speakers are highly recommended come Scott Ayler Approved.

I had the Klipsch Pro Media 2.1 speakers. They were good speakers, but the subwoofer amp would get hot. This one doesn't. Also, the Klipsch would rattle my walls. The bass on the Logitechs are deep, but smooth. Excellent for surround sound and you can connect them to your television as well. I would recommend that to any computer sound enthusiast and for gaming.
Thank you for your amazing feedback about the Logitech Z623 speakers! We're thrilled to hear that you and your kids are enjoying the incredible sound quality. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

Got these because my Altec Lansing AT3 set I have had since 2002 seemed to be failing. Reviews said these were some of the best sounding speakers with a dedicated sub that you could find. While the subwoofer is extremely powerful, the speakers themselves sound...tinny, is the best way I can describe it. The audio is hollow but it will certainly get the job done. Highs are crisp, mids are lost, and the bass can be overpowering.
