They were always hollow sounding and sometimes they would have a buzzing sound. These speakers have AWESOME sound. I expected good high-range sound, but these also have surprisingly good mid & low range. They produce a very 'full' sound playing classic rock, blues, r&b, and classical. Great sound and price!

I got it fixed really easily tho and have been having a blast since

I have had some other audio system and have work very good for me but let me tell you when I heard this baby I was amaze the way it sounded, clarity is the word, perfect bass that it will knock down glasses from the wall. Perfect sound and I am really happy with it, I do recommended for you to give it a shot you won't regret it.
