Awesome 2.1 speakers for computer or home theatre!

Been looking at these speakers for awhile now, just been waiting for the price to go down at the right moment. The sound quality is amazing, you will not regret getting these speakers. Only have them turned up halfway and its already way too loud. 330 watts total and THX-certified, for the price of these speakers you can't beat anywhere else.

I have only had this item for now more than 3 weeks not even like 10 hours of them even playing music in those three weeks and the bass blew, all of the reviews said it took around 2-3 years for that to happen to them.

Left speaker had a screw rattling around inside, causing the speaker to sound awful at any volume. Seriously logitech? How can you have such poor quality control at this price point?

I expected this to be USB or maybe the 3.5mm sound jack plug.
It came with the old blue port. My computer is high end and y mobp didn't have the port to connect the speaker system to. Needless to say it was returned.

Unable to connect these to any TV, which was main reason for getting them. Have tried various cables, and on various TV's. Need an engineering degree to figure these out. Will be returning them.

Hello, we are so sorry to hear about the issues you were having with the Z623 speakers. The Z623 speakers can connect to your tv using a 3.5 mm input or RCA cables as well. Just make sure that your tv has inputs for either of those. At the end of this message, I have attached a setup guide to help you out. I apologize for the confusion. Have a great day. -Ricky|Logitech. https://www.logitech.com/assets/65737/mojo-z623-web-qsg.pdf

Not sure about all these other VERIFIED reviews but these speakers are not good at all. Large, clunky, and sound goes in and out. DO NOT waste your money on these.

I was looking to upgrade my 15 y/o computer sound system. This one sounded ok (bass was no where near as heavy) but the sub was waaaay too big so I ended up returning it ans sticking with my old reliable one.

Big Sound for the Price

These are pretty great. Wanted some PC speakers without having to spend big bucks on higher end gear. On sale for 105 and I am super pleased with the quality for the low cost of entry. I like that you can adjust the bass for the sub woofer to get the right amount. Hooked them into my sound card through RCA (RCA cables not included, just 3.5mm). Now I can switch between my headset for gaming and these when I want to rock out to some music. I have the z313 2.1 system from them too and the z623 is in a different league in terms of power. Good stuff.

I bought a set of these speakers some three years ago. They're used daily and have performed flawlessly. The sound is phenomenal, especially the bass. They're received excellent reviews: http://www.digit.in/forum/reviews/135928-five-2-1-speaker-set-comparison.html
I like them well enough that I just ordered a second, new set for the price of $85, quite a bargain. I purchased a set of Klipsch Promedia speakers at the same time I bought my first set Logitech Z623s. The Klipsch sounded nearly as good as the Z623s until they went belly-up after less than two years. For the price, sound and reliability, it's mighty hard to beat the Logitech Z623s.

From a top notch recording studio these impressed!

Long story short im used to having my own in home studio available when i dont have the time at the professional studio. I'm selling my house so everything is in storage, thought i wouldn't need my studio monitors. So here i am. The reviews were great but i need more convincing often. So i went to the store and listened to these they were just ok in the store because i couldn't listen to what i wanted to hear on them. I listened to many sound bars and speakers and the only thing that seemed decent with bass and clarity in all ranges was the sono play5 which was $500. So i got these logitechs. Took them home and mannnnnnn i'm so suprised. Would of been sold at the store instantly if i could of hooked up an aux cord to my phone. Once i got them home though i was really sold. Still cant believe i got these for $89.99. All my mixes are translating perfectly its like i have my own studio setup again for the price of $89. If you're on the fence about it, go ahead and get them. I promise you it's more than enough bass, more than enough range more than enough clarity. AMAZING!!!!!!!

Logitech z623 review + Bose Companion 20's
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
Bought a set of (Bose Companion 20's) at Best Buy when my old Altec Lansing ACS48s' right channel died (after nearly 20 years of total awesomeness). The Bose Companion 20 I had high hopes for, especially since they are $249, and have some positive reviews. They sounded decent in the store. The audio quality rivals the old Altec Lansing set, but is severely bass deficient (The Altecs had great bass and sound quality all around). I suppose one giveaway is the AC adapter, which outputs 18v, 2A. I looked at multiple reviews and Boses' website for the wattage spec, I never found it, but that's a maximum total of 36 watts. So these are about 16W per channel max. Bose makes amazing sound with only 16W per channel, but don't expect any bass. To be truly great, the sound needs to be complete, not missing any spectrums.
I ended up returning them.
I just installed some Logitech z623's. (I'm sure all the Bose diehards are groaning..). To achieve a balanced sound, don't turn the bass up too high. I put it just past the center of the dial, but I think centered is plenty. Sitting at the computer the bass sounds slightly lower volume than when I get up and walk away from the computer. These definitely fill the whole room with great sound! On sale for $129 also (so half the price).
The win for me was these Logitechs.

Great Simple Sound
Posted .
This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I use my Z623 system mostly for cable television viewing. Its secondary purpose for me is movies from my laptop and lastly music from my laptop. The most important pro about this system is its simplicity. I do not own a full sound system because I do not like all of the satellite speakers and especially the accompanying wires. My system is in a 450sq/ft living/dining/kitchen open area in an apartment. I have very little sound absorbing material in this space. The entire area is bamboo floors with no window treatments; so, it is usually very difficult to find good sounding acoustics from movies. This system sounds amazing throughout the aforementioned area. The 7" sub has amazing range and is not over-bearing. I have my bass amplifier knob set at 50% and it is perfect for my application. The volume capability is well above "domestic-disturbance" levels. I have yet to find a volume high enough to distort the sound. Granted, I only tested the maximum volume for a few minutes with country music, but was very satisfied with the clarity. The appearance of over-engineered mid-range speakers is very stylish and gives the system a high-quality look. The sub is exceptionally heavy for its size; this is a plus for me because it at least gives me the impression it is made of high-quality materials. I say, "impression" because I have not had this system long enough to fully attest to its true durability.

Great speakers to fill your room with sound!!!

This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.
I got these speakers for 100 bucks, with the intention of replacing my desktop speakers. The z623's are very powerful speakers, easily filling my room with sound. I love the what the sub woofer adds to my experience, my room is on the second floor and the rumbling can be felt downstairs. Although at very high volumes there is some distortion, which could be due to my laptops sub par sound card. Don't get me wrong though, for most people half of the volume will suffice most of the time (its pretty loud and clear). Overall I am extremely pleased with my purchase; I love using it for music and watching movies on my laptop. I would recommend it for the average user but perhaps not an audiophile (not quite studio quality).

No problem with bass component from the humongous woofer box, but if you want to listen to quality music, say classical, a can on a string might sound better. What a dissapointment.
