Solid Speakers

I'm coming from some Logitech X-230 speakers, which I was always very happy with, but so far, this system is even better. I have them on my desk and am listening in the near-field. From what I'm hearing so far, I like them a lot. The sound is nice and balanced—not too bright or not too dull. Bass is excellent, and I only have the knob set to the middle.
One thing to be careful about: make sure you get your audio settings right on your PC. Mine was originally set to stereo, and I was getting extremely weak bass. I reconfigured the sound output to 5.1, and de-selected center and side speakers. That did the trick, and now these babies are singing.
At this price point, I can't really ask for more. This 2.1 system sounds wonderful, and gets plenty loud, if need be.

Excellent Speakers (From An Audiophile)

I used to build hi performance car stereo systems when I was in my 20's, now I'm 47. Tri-Amp systems with 3rd octive EQ's, active cross-overs, subs, the works. I compared this Logitech Z623 to speakers more than twice as expensive and the user reviews for this set was just as good and had 10 times more people reviewing them so I purchased these for $100 versus $200-$400 for others. Out of the box they sounded not so good (as every speaker system does without EQ'ing#. Make sure you have a nice sound card #cheap one# so you can tweak the sound with an EQ as you would with any good stereo system to match your room. They now sound awesome. A symple sound card with an EQ and balance controls is all you need. Creative has some downloads on their website I updated my sound card with for nothing. Don't miss these speaker for the price. You don't need anymore power for sitting in front of your PC. It fills the room and thumps the floor. Vocals are great, Highs are great, and the sub performs as any sub I have ever seen. Wow...Logitech you know your speakers.

Incredible Bass For Size And Boomy

The bass on the subwoofer is incredible, very clean, boomtown, and hits the lows well. The satellites are great for the price but overall they're okay to decent. If you want to buy the Klipsch Promedia 2.1 then I advise you not to if you're of course a basshead. The Klipsch is at most half as much more than the Logitech and still has much less bass. Obviously the satellites of the Klipsch are much better, mainly with the kids because it has a tweeter with them as well and it balances out the midrange. I love this speaker system and I really hope it lasts me a while.

Needed something to pair with my computer build and this is perfect! Using dolby atmos on my pc with these it has amazing clarity! The bass is very responsive and has great resonation even at low volume i walked all throughout the house and could hear it. To give them a kick i actually have them connected to my blue yeti microphone with dolby atmos activated through the microphone. The bullet tweeters add nice clarity. Overall for the point these are 110% worth it. I would buy these before i would get a soundbar.

I got these for a little bit of nothing. Im a libra so I'm very picky, but these thing are amazing super clear like HD or 4k clear with super bass.... so bassy if that's a word.. I dont need to turn them up it shakes everything around me. deep bass and you still hear every word and sound in a song. Its surround sound when watching a movie multiple times I was not sure if sound was from the horror movie or actually real sound around me I had to check my door 4 time, thought dogs was barking and thought i heard cop cars that how real the sound is. It make songs I've heard 100's of times sound new and different. Worth every dime if not more.

Awesome speakers for the money

Got the speakers for 99.99 when they were on sale. The bass is of-course the highlight of this product, which is pretty awesome, not as good as z5500, but still great considering its size. The mids and highs are also decent. Overall a nice system for those who live in apartments and condos, where size is an issue.

When I first hooked up this sound system to my computer (simple setup) I was expecting to be pleased, but when I heard the bass I was blown away. I am so happy to have these speakers at the sale price (I would be just as happy to pay the non-sale price for the sound) to finish of my new computer setup. I think these may sound better than my new(ish) ($400) panny viera sound-bar for my VT60. My friend heard these speakers and immediately took advantage of the sale price and bought a set for his computer. I cant see how you would be disappointed and this is from a guy who doesn't write too many reviews.

Surprisingly good for music production

Got these about three years ago, back when I was on a limited budget and didnt have the money for a high end system. To say these speakers have served me well is a colossal, colossal understatement. I am beyond amazed with the sound quality on these, and the price is amazing. Only 150 watts of bass? Enough to shake the entire place and be heard from an acre away. Will definitely keep these after upgrading to more pro audio equipment for my birthday. As a music producer, if you dont have money for high end equipment, Id say these are beyond a great bargain

I am really pleased with this system. I had a Logitech system before but it was relatively low-end and did not sound ... great. So I decided to upgrade and went to BB to buy the Klipsch system that was on sale. The Klipsch system sounds good, but this Logitech Z623 sounds fuller. The notes are the same and the volume is very similar, but the sound stage of the Logitech seems deeper and fuller to me. The subwoofer is strong and you can crank it up quite a ways without distortion. Stereo separation and definition is very good. A very good system for the money; not cheap but good value for money.

just epic...
Hands down, Logitech. Very easy to setup anywhere; desktop, backyard, you name it, it's there. At first I was bummed out of no treble controls, saying this before I had this plug it into anything. Press the power button and POW, epic sound to your ears in this 2.1 system. I have used these speakers in my backyard at a moderate-high level for hours and played beautifully.
The bass is perfectly sound coming from a 6 inch woofer. Even at the slightest volume, you can hear how clear the bass and deep it can get at low levels until you crank 'em up.. epic.

MY 20$ Sharper image amazon speakers weren't very great so I decided to spend some money on some good speakers! I bought these and had them delivered same day. I'm blown away by these speakers! I was scared of not having enough bass (I'm a basshead) but these have too much bass! (This is a good thing) Sound is very clear! highs, mids and lows are great! If your looking for a sound system that is cheap-ish and has great sound this is the one for you!

I just bought two sets of these on sale from BB, and I am really impressed with the sound this set puts out. Music and movies sound excellent, and I think I would be hard pressed to find an equal or better sounding set for anywhere near the price. The subwoofer really puts out nice deep bass. I am thoroughly pleased.

Everything about this product is amazing. Out of box and connected to the desktop sounds amazing. With the 130watt Sub the bass is deep and it really does pound when playing games and watching movies.
When wanting to listen to music I had to adjust the sound card to accommodate for lack of an equalizer but again it's a 2.1 set-up. But soon after finishing the tuning the sound got it's full potential and it sounds amazing!

Better than expected

I bought these because my Klipsch ProMedias developed a white noise in one of the sats after only two months. I needed something to use while I mail them in to be fixed at the very least.
These really sound better than I expected. Sound is a little thick at the frequencies covered best by the single drivers in the desktop speakers. Then, frequency respose drops off a bit in the lower mids and extreme highs. This results in a slightly colored sound, but not bad by any means. IMO, they sound a bit richer than the Klipsch at lower volumes, Those aren't perfect either and can sound a tad thin at times. Although, the soundstage tends to be a bit deeper than with the Logitech and the Klipsch can go a smidge louder.
I'm very satisfied with these, even after owning the Klipsch. I have serious doubts about the quality of the Klipsch. The first set I brought home was defective and the second set lasted only 2-months and saw no abuse. If these last longer, I'd have to say they're the better choice. We'll see... Oh... I do have to say these desktop speakers are pretty ugly. But, It's the sound that matters most I guess...
