I'd been looking at this for awhile. When it went on sale for $99.99, I jumped on it. Not at all dissappointed. I've had good expeirences with Logitech in the past. Don't expect any long term issues with this.
Love the input for 1/8th (3.5mm)! With the size and weight of the sub woofer, this is not the most portable sound system. But it would not be difficult to take somewhere. All you need is electricity and your MP3 or other device. This thing will fill a medium to larger room with awesome bass and good clear sound. Even at full price, it blows away all those "portable" speakers for your digital device. Many of which cost more!
Purchased online for in store delivery. Showed up a couple days early.
We appreciate your thoughtful review. It’s great to know our product is meeting your needs. Thanks for being a valued customer.

If you are in the market for a 2.1 system with good sound quality for a great price, these speakers are perfect. Their highs and mids are clear and detailed, and the bass is sufficient. They crank up pretty loud too.

For the price, this set of speakers just can't be beat. The bass is absolutely phenomenal. The mids are front and center. The highs have a nice shimmer. They are as loud as hell. And no matter what I have put through them, whether it be a bass guitar, synth, and endless forms of music, they have not distorted once at any volume. What else could you possibly ask for at this price.

These speakers are loud and clear with great bass and very affordable. Sound way better than even professional monitors you can get a music store. Highy recommend. I bought 2 pair.
It sounds like you've found a fantastic pair of speakers.
Based on your description, the speakers seem to be loud, clear, and have great bass, all at an affordable price. It's great to hear that they outperform even professional monitors. Your recommendation is a strong endorsement.

Very good for music, games, and movies even some minor audio production but it really shines when it comes to immersive audio. It's not surround sound but has a ton of bass and gets pretty loud. It works really well for party music. I would stay clear of this if you live in an apartment or scrunched condo/town home because of how loud it can get. The default level of bass and and the knob cranked up to about 30% is enough to shake the walls.

For $120 I can’t recommend these enough. The subwoofer is an absolute bargain, has a monstrous amount of power, and rumbles down to 33hz. The best part about this is how small the subwoofer is. For someone, like me, who has a tiny bedroom with barely any room available this sub works perfectly. Most music doesn’t sound bad on this system from my experience but when too many instruments get going the satellite speakers seem to have trouble handling everything, especially in midrange focused genres such as metal. The midrange is the only thing about this system I think is missing, it seems very under emphasized at times, but a few shortcomings are to be expected at this price point. Most people probably won’t notice. For movies and games that’s where this system really shines. If you want decent enough sound quality with bass you can feel (and make the room or house shake) this is for you. Lastly, I found putting the subwoofer in the corner to be the best option for where I’ve been using it. Any other position resulted in nulls (bass frequencies canceled). If you are lucky to have a larger room that isn’t squared (the worst) then experiment with some other positions if you want.

Affordable. Easy to assemble. Great for my iPhone coz I loved to listen to music via YouTube, great sound too when you watch DVDs... Why do you need expensive sound system when you can have this simple affordable one. The subwoofer was awesome...you can feel the room vibrating. I dont need too much loud sound system that kind of feeling that your Neighbor can hear it. I'm a practical person especially this days, all are expensive. I always read the reviews of others before I buy a product and this one was true. I'm satisfied with it.

I got these for the Gaming PC I recently got. I knew the bass was important for sound, so I was looking around for a speaker set that let me adjust the bass with a dial.
It drove me nuts not finding anything in my price range. The closest before was Razer, and given it only comes with a speaker for the price, I figured it wasn't an option.
Then I came across these! I listened to them at my local Best Buy, and the sound was gorgeous! While they still were a bit pricey to me, they definitely have been worth it!
I found out that the feature in speakers, THX? Apparently Razer bought the company who knows how long ago, and that's why I couldn't find anything similar before now.
So I got speakers with this amazing sound quality for $170, rather than Razer's glowing extras for around $500 dollars (I think that's the price for the tier that finally adds a subwoofer) So I think I got an amazing deal :)
So far, I've played Red Dead Redemption 2 and World War Z with it. The sound is easily on par with 300-500 dollar tv sound systems IMO,

Love the sound quality, slim and sleek profile, and value of these speakers. Definitely worth the money and the sound is outstanding! My husband is an avid PC gamer and had been holding on to his old set of PC speakers for literally a decade, and these speakers had both a rich sound quality, took up minimal real estate, and were at a reasonable price point for him to finally make the switch.

Easy to set up. Wish the speaker line provided was a little longer (but an RCA extension cable I had worked just fine). Nice sound. I wish the crossover was set a BIT higher as some low-mids seem to be lacking (150-300hz). Crisp high end and the lows are GREAT! Plenty of boom. Battlefield sounds amazing. Great, compact sound for the price!!!

Incredible sound and so glad I upgraded to larger speakers. The bass is really good and they power up pretty well for computer speakers. It would be great if they came with some type of stand since they do take up a bit of space on the computer desk. Other than that it's a great purchase.

Good sound quality. Plenty of volume. Reasonable price. The downside is the cords. Both of the smaller speakers hook into the base speaker. One hooks in with an RCA connector and the other with a HD15 type of connector. Cord lengths are doable, but are shorter than I would like. I would prefer that Logitech would just use speaker wire.

Beautiful design in black; with the controls in the main satellite speaker; clear sound from the satellite speakers; a very powerful bass; and not so expensive, I got it with $40.00 discount. I am very happy with this product!!

These replaced Klipsch 2.1 THX certified system and this sounds at least as goos if not better and the treble is quite a bit better. Deep bass, perfect for gaming.
Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re thrilled to know the Z623 delivers the deep bass and clear treble you enjoy, making it perfect for gaming. Your feedback means a lot to us.

Bought this speaker system during a sale and I have to say that for a hundred bucks no other system comes close. The speakers have solid build quality, the highs and mids are clear and not overdone, the sub is fully adjustable so you can dial in the right amount of base for you. I you want it to just pound away at your ears they can do that too. Highly recommend these speakers, especially if you can get them on sale.

Volume can get super loud. Enough base that it shakes the house. Had them for over a year now I think and they get played loud often. Haven't had any issues sound quality is still super great.

These speakers are incredible! For computer speakers the subwoofer has more bass than my Samsung Q90 surround sound system that I paid $1,400 for. Love them and would definetly recommend if your looking to upgrade your computer speaks to 400 watts of banging bass and crystal clear THX sound.
It's great to hear you're enjoying the Z623's bass. We understand the comparison to your home theater system, and we appreciate the feedback on its powerful performance. We're glad they're delivering the sound you were looking for.

These speakers sound amazing! I've read a lot of comparisons to Klipsch and how these don't measure up. Coming from someone who was using built in monitor speakers, I can tell you this is LEAPS and BOUNDS better than that. I'm not an audiophile, so these sound great to me. Plenty of bass, but that can be adjusted as needed. Plus, the controls are on the right satellite speaker instead of the subwoofer itself. That is an improvement from the last pair of Logitech speakers I owned in college.
These can get pretty loud, so I would be cautious using these in an apartment. But for those in a house, these will fit just nicely. My one complaint is the bulkiness of the satellite speakers. Coming from someone with an L-Shaped desk and dual monitor setup, these do stick out a bit. But if you are rocking a single monitor, these will be perfect.
Overall, I'm super happy with these for $100. They are an immense upgrade from built in monitor speakers. If you are not an audiophile, or looking for a step up from basic speakers, these are the ones to get.
