The 2nd pair has developed a cracking sound but was purchased less than 6 months old. What happened to Klipsch speakers? Logitech makes different models. If this is they're best, it's not.

Very good computer speakers!

As other have stated, the sound is excellent. I'm a sound snob and I have absolutely no issues with this system whatsoever. For the price, you can't beat them. I will say that I also wish the cables were longer. I have three monitors and these speakers cover the outside bottom corners of my outer monitors. I'm still very happy.

Static noice coming from right speaker

After a couple hours of use the right satellite speaker has a static noice coming from it. Never turned the volune up past like 40%. Yet it sounds like the speaker is blown. I was impressed on first impression. But now im kinda disapointed. Going to exchange them to see if i just got a bad batch as i loved the intial sound they produced.

Crisp full sound. They are very musical and not bland at all. The secret is to use TOSLINK/Optical input. If you use regular stereo cable you will lose a lot of quality. I tried many competition speakers and I kept these. You have to spend 3-4 times more to actually get something better.

Whether it's a YouTube music file, an MP3, or a FLAC file, the sound is so complete that there is little more one could ask, from small to medium size speakers. Even heard from another room, at moderate volume, the sound has good quality, which says a lot about the quality of audio hardware. I'm totally impressed.

Then i had issues where windows would loose settings for the set..fine i'd just reset everytime I had to use them. Now after barely 18mos..the left speaker connection shorted out so bad I woke up to burning electrical smell at 1 am. Not worth the $$ imho if they barely last a year and a half.

They asked for a copy of receipt, sent it to them via email. They declined again and said the warranty period was over. Purchased less then one year. NEVER ANOTHER LOGITECH PRODUCT.

Instrumental music sounds fine, but I can barely hear the vocals even after turning the volume to MAX. My room is small so the music is way too loud at this level. It shouldn't be necessary under any circumstances. Finally, there is no voice on any YouTube clips. Performance like this on a set of $200 speakers. It certainly didn't happen with my inexpensive Z130's which I hoped to replace with the more sophisticated system. Unless Logitech customer service can walk me through solutions to these vexing issues, these dead weights are going back ASAP!
