A continuation of an amazing series! Longmire is one of the best TV dramas to come around in a long time. Far from the cookie cutter crime dramas being produced today, Longmire combines the observation skills and deductive reasoning of Sherlock Holmes with a modern Western. The stories are modern and the standalone crimes in each episode are tied together with the ongoing serial stories that have been developed since the pilot episode. There's no high tech equipment, no CSI miracles, no huge pool of resources, and no flashy offices for this Wyoming sheriff and his deputies to draw from, so if modern tech is your thing, this series is not for you. If you want to see solid, engaging drama, well-developed and well-played characters, amazing cinematography that takes full advantage of the wide open spaces of the West, interaction between white and American Indian cultures (and some of the most honest representation of that still present dichotomy), and just plain entertaining television, then Longmire is for you. Do yourself a favor and watch all 3 seasons in order...there is a continuing plot line that weaves through all three seasons (and will be carried on in Season 4) that won't make much sense if you just start watching at Season 3. A&E Network truly shot themselves in the foot by cancelling this series, but A&E's loss is Netflix's gain...look for season 4 on Netflix this fall!!

Not sure why this moved to Netflix only but I am glad they decided to pick up the series. It's awesome and will keep you coming back. I bought this as a gift for my mom who loves this show and now she can watch it as much as she wants! It was actually her recommendation for me to watch it and for once, I actually liked a show she recommended!

This series based on the great Craig Johnson books is worth the watch. Sheriff Longmire (Robert Taylor) solves crimes at his own pace often times frustrating the people he works with. But his thought process always brings him to the answer he needs to solve the crime. It's an interesting journey shot among beautiful scenery. Very enjoyable.

Had 1st and 2nd season so it's a no brainer. My wife and I have watched it over and over. All seasons. If you like modern westerns and Lou Diamond Phillips and Gerald McRaney, you'll love it. But you have to have all seasons to get the best enjoyment.

My husband got the first season for Christmas. We have since got seasons two, three and four. It is addicting. We lived in Montana for 20 years and are familiar with many of the places named. We are waiting for the 5th season to be released.

Longmire is one of the best shows to come out in years. The representation of Indigenous characters is well done, plots are engaging, and characters are great.

Excellent series. Cancelled too soon by original network but came back to life on Netflix. I don't have that - so bought season 3 sight unseen after loving first 2 seasons. Great cast, smart writing. Terrific characters and plots.

Longmire is one of new shows that I eagerly wait for more. The actors, their interaction, and the storyline of Craig Johnson are fabulous. Longmire brings back memories of some of the old cowboy hero's !

The show was well done and I enjoyed it very much. Great acting, not over-acting, unfortunately I hear it is going to NetFlix, so I won't be following it anymore, unless they send it to DVD.

Longmire is a great series based on the books by Craig Johnson. The crusty Western sheriff has a unique way of solving mysteries and crimes that cross his path. Highly recommended.

Good casting, good stories, and good television all around. I was sorry to hear the A&E have cancelled it from there line up, but it's not all bad, it seems that Netflix is adding it to there line up this is another reason why I'm really starting to like Netflix more, and more.

Keep writing Craig Johnson so that there are many more Longmire shows. What a wonderful way to see real people react to real situations.

This is a great series to binge watch over a weekend, start to end. Better for teens and older. A little much for younger kids.

We watched and enjoyed the first two years and really enjoyed, then found season 4 in the store so purchased it. Had to order season 3 and will binge watch 3 & 4. A fun modern day western with good, bad and borderline characters.

I like this cause I think it speaks to a different type of man. how men used to be so I like the thought put into this series.

The locale, characters, personalities, and plots have that "Old West" flair that is missing from many stories today.

The above DVD TV show is just a continuation of the previous DVD's for this series. If you like a show based in the West and have adventure you would appreciate this. I plan to continue to purchase and future seasons.

Longmire was a great TV program that was cancelled. Watching the third season is a great way to reconnect.

I just wish there were more episodes per season. This is my second time through and I love it.
