This is good survellence value due to not being so spendy but giving good coverage and decent video. Wish there were some more refinded ability to dial into the areas I need to review (i have full video with motion set with motion markers now but can not manipulate forward/back with mouse with accuacy). Would be nice to be able to mouse across timeline and not have it so jerky/jumpy. This is not like reviewing video on VLC on computer. It can be exported to the computer then used on VLC and I have done this. If I truly wanted more I should have paid more than I did. So far the quality of product has seemed good. In service for just over a month now. I did upgrade from a Lorex 2 camera system to a 4 camera system. There does seem to now be some lag on home wireless but there is alot of information going over as I also have this set up so I can review all cameras on my Droid. This is nice. I do monitor the horse/property several times a day via this method and it gives peace of mind horse is okay. I know that when I go out of town I can also give access (via account I set up with limited permissions and changable passwords) to the caretaker of the horse so they too can monitor for or during any negative situations which may arrise. Camera coverage width is fine, especially for the $ spent. Night vision is quite good. I even have the advantage of one camera looking out to another camera coverage area to first camera can also pick up and use the infarred from the second camera and this really extends my night vision. I am probably seeing well over 200' at night on camera 1. Might be farther but vision stops at a tree line. This is noted coverage even on a moonless night and we do not have much ambient light out here in the country unless you count the stars. Have seen deer, racoons, cats and of course the horse at night so far. Have also caught ourselves on a late night walk. Gave a 4 star rating for the video reviewing ease not being quite what it could be. I am happy with the cameras/quality/field of vision.

I give this product a 4 out of 5 because the wireless signal doesn't reach very far. Otherwise it is Very easy to install, and the picture is clear.

Setup was easy but trying to follow the included instructions was not. The included remote control and mouse do not work unless you wire the DVR directly to a monitor. Also, if you have satellite internet, your remote access from your smart phone will be hit and miss, mostly miss. All this aside, this system has a good picture and has an excellent IR (night vision) range.

I am happy overall with the Lorex security system. The instructions were really quite easy to follow once I really started looking at them. The only problem is getting it to send me an email and actually record. The instructions they send do not address these two issues. Their website is really well set up to help with this. Although, I'm still not getting email. The app they provide does the job. They could do alot to improve the app because you can't control the device with the app, only observe and start a recording. However, the app won't playback any recordings. So, definitely some bugs. But, the basic function of a security camera? They nailed that.

These cameras were easy to install but the directions for setting up the recording were confusing. Love that we can access from a mobile app. Only real concern is there are a lot of cords...it's a little messy and requires two outlets just for the DVR. Each camera also requires a plug. Still worth the investment!

Set up was relatively easy. Cameras connected instantly. Video quality is average, too grainy to make out facial features. Has option to add better cameras. Download the Client software to desktop to change settings rather than hooking up a monitor to base unit. Best if 1) have high-speed internet, 2) outdoor location with GFIC outlet nearby.

The cameras are clear day and night . Phone app is nice and works great . Flawless set up

The cameras are ok. Real slow when watching tends to lag . Poor app always fails to connect

This system had issues conflicting with my home internet ... Wifi. I returned and replaced with a different setup with no issues.

It literally took a month to set these security cameras up. The website is not user friendly. The software is not functional on many levels but the support team was amazing. Once we figured out the issue, the cameras were beyond what we expected. I guess it was worth all the frustration.

Easy set up. Clear picture. Great price and would recommend

our first cameras - more than what we wanted to spend but good bang for your buck.

So far it has been great, hook up was a little difficult since the website they tell you to go to does not pull up.

Myoutdoor camera worked great for a month but then motion detector decided to work sporatically and the distance went to 10 ft.

After a recent break-in this camera system has given me peace of mind when i leave the house.

They looked very good cameras. But I found they r a lil expensive. U can find cheaper swans

easy to install, good system BUT it was too much of a draw on my home wi-fi. It made by computer so slow I was forced to let the camera system go.
