Did not like anything about this system! Go with the arlo wireless and you can't go wrong, it's worth the extra money!

This product doesn't allow you to view camera on your smart phone if you are not at home. This is one of the main options I wanted. Employee at best buy assured me it did.

This unit wireless range and quality is very good. Not HD quality, but overall picture quality is good for the cost. While all features worked well and as advertised, I could not get the motion detection recording ability to work. It wanted to record all the time or not at all no matter the setting. I returned it for refund.

This equipment was very easy to install and connect. It has incredible clarity. The app works great as well. Very satisfied with this product.

Good system but if you have a big house like i do it is possible to lose the wireless signal. But it works great.

This is simply a basic security camera. No bells or whistles. The resolution is a bit gridy, but overall good.

Camera quality was okay. The main issue I had was the cameras work on a 2.4 Ghz frequency which interfered with my WiFi. Made my 400 mbps internet go to 10mbps. I returned the product.

This is a great camera if you need something very basic. This system has 2 cameras and a monitor. The cameras MUST be viewed on the included monitor only. No viewing on smartphones or computer. It does have a good picture and provides sound from the camera. The system will record 28 hours of continues video. You can set it to overwrite after it reaches it's limit. This would be a good system for someone who wants to see who is coming to the door while they are sitting in the room. DO NOT buy this if you need to watch your property away from home.

So I purchased this camera set up Jan 30, 2016 on March 9 the monitor screen went black and will not work. Best buy has a 15 day return policy so I was force to go straight to Lorex... It has been a complete nightmare I have called 4 different times because they keep telling me I the replacement is approved and will ship and that I will get an email when it ships but I have yet to see this email. I purchased this system to monitor a very pregnant horse who is about to give birth and needs around the clock monitoring. So frustrated....

I just bought this camera system today because I need to monitor what's going on in my barn. My barn is only about 65 feet or so from my house so distance isn't a problem. I turned on the monitor and paired the cameras in my living room and although the picture quality was pretty decent the video was very choppy. Almost like it's taking pictures and playing them like an old time movie. I was hoping for a way smoother video quality for the money I spent. The night vision is grainy but "ok".. I'm undecided yet if I wil be returning only because my internet sucks where I live so a wireless system that you can remotely view probably wouldn't work all that well and I do like the wireless monitor feature of this system, so I'm not stuck at my computer to see what's going on outside like I would be with a wired system. The sound quality is great and I can hear my animals even just moving around in the barn. If the video wasn't so choppy I'd give this more stars for sure. I would recommend this product but wouldn't rave about it.

Video on this system is very poor, navigating the on screen menu to play back video is cumbersome and not very well thought out. You can remove the memory card and view them on a PC, however the .ASF files are not compatible with windows media player so you must download a proprietary player from the Lorex website. Not easy to find there but I did finally find it and download it. Playback of videos is horribly grainy and jumpy. Very cheesy player. It is very limited as to what you can do with the video, you are forced to view a window divided into 4 quadrants even though you only had 1 camera recording, you cant view full screen either. If you need to take a video to the police you will also have to take their player for them to view it, not a good idea. I returned it to the store the next day. Very disappointed with this one. This was my 2nd purchase of a Lorex wireless video surveillance system. Late 2014 I purchased a LW2751 system and it has great video, navigating the menu and video playback is easy. Files will also play on windows media player.

This product says all over the packaging that it is wireless, it is NOT wireless! The whole reason I bought the product was because it said that it was wireless so I assumed it took rechargeable batteries because that's also what the packaging said. No, you have to run power cords to every piece of equipment. I honestly would like to know what makes this product wireless.

The camera instructions to set up new Router is lame. Lorex puts a qrcode sticker on back of receiver. After one year the stupid qr code is outdated and will not take you to the support function to take you through the steps to change router. Been on hold for 39 minutes no support. Seems they change models rather quickly and leave you hanging if you have to make a simple change to a new wireless network. It will work fine until you got to change internet providers or you move and have to set it up again. Steer clear of Lorex.
