got this to watch the property while i was away or the family is on vaca. Works great easy to set up and you can view from your phone or tablet.

This was an easy install of the base unit and 4 cameras. I enjoy being able to log in on the web and check out the activity or view the one camera we pointed outside. I would have given 5 stars, but the mounting arms and adjust-ability of the camera mounts were not of high quality.

The initial setup was easy. Followed the 2 sheets of instructions, and the 4 cameras connected wirelessly to the DVR. The iPhone app was easy to connect also, although it provides limited functionality. The 720p HD camera quality is not as good as I hoped in either day or night use. Unfortunately, the Lorex Stratus app for my Mac won't connect. I've had it for a month andI haven't been able to reach tech support by phone yet. Their wait time always says a half-hour, but they still don't answer after an hour. And if you leave a message they don't call you. I was able to start a ticket using chat, but the Mac issue hasn't been fixed yet.

Works great and is super easy to install. Customer service is difficult and you could really use them on issues of how to best use the system. Overall, it works great and free cloud storage. Ordering another for my other location

Right out of the box it was easy. Most difficult part is finding good place with electrical outlet. Next time I may consider wireless 100%.

Great set of cameras and easy to install. Great option if you don't want to hard wire to DVR. Longer power cord and better internet funtionality (cloud recording) would improve value.

This is a decent set up if looking for something easy to get going since it is wireless. Does need elec. outlet for each camera but I felt this was better than replacing batteries as with some systems or running wire to each camera and I had access to outlets where cameras were located.Something I noticed was choppy monitoring kind of like skype probably due to wireless lag.Also not using internet Wi-Fi abilities as only using a tv for monitor so can't really review mobile app. abilities of this system.Overall am happy with system.

Good picture, easy installation and a great price compared to some of the others.

camera's were easy to install and to setup, out of the box they automatically setup with the base. The only issue I have is that the cameras are a little too far behind when looking at live view.

It was a little tough to install as the instructions were not very clear but it works great once it was set up

This system is perfect for anyone wanting an easy-to-install WIRELESS system that saves you the hassles of running video cables. Although the cameras themselves need to be plugged into an electrical outlet, they do not need cables running back to the DVR as the signal is transmitted wirelessly. The video quality is good and the set-up is simple.

Had great reviews but when connected through our wifi, it overrides everything and will not allow us to connect to Internet

I bought (2) of these systems. One of them has been working fine for a little over a month with no trouble, but the other one is not the case. After (1) week one of the cameras went bad. Tech support issued a replacement, but after a month now, they have yet to ship the replacement. I have contacted their customer support 6 times now regarding the issue and have got nothing but the run around from the rep and supervisor reps. I can tell you that this has been most frustrating and I would never buy another product from Lorex just because of their customer service response. You don't buy a product and expect it to fail in one week and you would expect the company to replace it immediately since you are a new product customer. Shop for another brand.

I did a lot of research before buying this item. The people at the Geek Squad were also very helpful in helping me make my decision about this product. It is an excellent home security camera system.
