We had a much shorter cable that barely fit our needs, and because of other issues we always had a poor connection. (ie broken clips to hold the cable in place to the modem and laptops) Once I replaced the old cable with this one, we immediately saw an improvement in speed on our laptops because now the cable was being held firmly in place. For the price out of all the Ethernet Cables I looked at, this was the cheapest price for the length, especially since I don't trust wireless connections. Now we can use our laptops anywhere in our apt. and since there are no children in out household we don't have to worry about a tripping hazard over the cable! This was an excellent purchase for my needs for the price!
