I really like the clarity of this security camera. It looks super clear during the day and is adequate at night. So far I have viewed thieving cats and maurading dogs. A rabbit treaspassed and the neighborhood peacock (yes, an actual peacock) came for a visit. It saved me from missing a package delivery as an added bonus. The near immediate motion detection warning to my phone really gives me an added sense of security. I really hope it holds up over the long term.

This is the same review from the indoor version of this camera. This is a great product. Better than Nest and Arlo. Primarily because it allows local storage (microsd). I have 128gb in it and I don't need to use the Flir Cloud. So no monthly cost for storage. Video quality is great! Only issue i ran into was latency when viewing the live feed and the install. Your going to want to make sure your router is going to be able to handle streaming for the camera along with every wireless devices you have connected to it. Another is the app. There are 2 Flir/Lorex app listed in Google Play. The right app to install is Flir Secure. If you get the other one you will have issues, like I did. And the reviews here that states install was a problem, I could guess they used the wrong app. Another thing too is the price! Cheaper that the Nest and Arlo simply because of its local storage option. No need to get a subscription.

Very easy to hook up to my phone and wifi. Picture is very clear in day light. Night vision needs a light source to produce a good picture. Don't know what I expected but over all does what I wanted it too.

I bought this camera to help secure my house under the assumption that the quality of the camera and the features and stated. I was surprised on the clarity of the video but was disappointed in the lack of constant recording. I was upset when multiple times I expected the camera record footage but missed the entire event in the system saying there was no video recording( entire days were missingfrom events). The angle of view was astounding the audio did sound great for most part. I would recommend if the video footage would record as promised.

I bought 2 of the outdoor models and one indoor model. They are ok. Considering the price, I expected more. The app has issues. I can view historical information, but can not view live feed. I may try a different system all together and keep this as a back up system.

Does not interface at all with existing Lorex SD Pro system already in place. The set up was tricky and slow. The companies who deliver tech these days always wanted to force upgrades and sales by not being backwards compatible. If this is the case, then buy a different brand for far less cost than known brands.

Got two cameras (outdoor and indoor) a week ago, expecting to spend the whole afternoon installing them, connecting the apps, etc... 20 minutes later, both cameras were up and running. The video quality is great, and the app is sleek and self explanatory. So far, my experience is great.

These camera are great. They are very clear day and night.

Great home security camera! Clear picture, easy install, even easier upload of photos or videos. Price is a steal, no subscription.

The cameras work fairly well given the cost of them. The only negative thing I’ve found is they will occasionally go offline and have to be manually reconnected.

I own three of these now and can monitor my property when ever I want. Easy to set up clear pictures.

HD cam performs as expected, has nice quality and basic features...but, ad claims Alexa compatibility, while Lorex web site says, Not. If Alexa communication is a key requirement, Lorex is not the right choice. I cannot recommend this cam for (my or other) Alexa application.

This is a terrific easy to install device, which provides terrific quality footage via technology. Unfortunately, the technology fails whereby you must renew the electronic connection from time to time.

The rapid review is the best part. It recognizes everything and shows when they pass again.
