The Adventura SH 140 II is a Very Nice camera case, as long as you value the design features it offers - and are willing to ignore a couple of quirky choices; and, of course, you purchase for the "right" usage & for the "right" camera. The Quirky Stuff (with an acknowledgement that not everyone will find all of these "odd"): 1) The bag opens (into the main compartment) from the REAR, via a top zipper - and yet there is a Front Flap, held down by an adjustable clip. After years of carrying a Tamrac Explorer, still tend to open that flap expecting to find my camera. The front flap seems to be little more (nothing more - ?) then a superfluous "Style" choice... 2) By the name ("Adventura"), and the presence of a small rubber "skid pad" on the bottom, you might expect this to be a bag designed to withstand The Elements (or at least a moderate rainfall): but the Top Zipper (again, directly into the main compartment), is not sealed, is not covered by a weather flap, and no rain cover is provided. Oh: and the side pouches simply have elastic at their tops: not likely to keep anything but a light mist out of them. 3) For a Non-Cheap bag, it seems Somewhat Cheap to provide zippers with bare metal pulls; and a carry strap that has thin "padding" and lacks rotating (anti-twist) connections. (Although it can be clipped off, and hence replaced, if one wishes.) SO: With all of the above "Flaws," why Buy - and why the 4 Star Overall Rating? 1) The construction appears high quality, and the bag is nicely padded. It gives some assurance that the contents might survive moderate bumps & / or falls. 2) It was the "perfect" Size AND Shape for the CAMERA and USAGE it was purchased for: a) Camera: Panasonic FZ1000 - it fits very nicely, lens down, and supported by the two fully adjustable "dividers" provided with the LowePro. NOTE: LowePro recommends the Advertura SH 120 for the FZ1000. After trying both bags, the 140 seemed a much better choice. b) Size: Just large enough to hold the FZ1000, a couple of batteries, charger, SD Cards (more than currently owned...), micro-fiber cloth & a (SMALL) notepad & an appropriately small pen. c) Usage: Will often be carried within a Timbuktu Classic Messenger bag (Medium), but also want ability to carry it on its own as well. The intent to carry within another bag put a premium on Minimal Dimensions, especially fore-and-aft. Would have preferred NO front pouch, but at least the one on the SH140 is SLIM (in fact, about its only real use is to hold a small cleaning cloth & paper pad). And the "skid pad" - beyond perhaps helping to keep the cloth bottom away from a slightly damp ground - actually helps the case slide into the messenger bag. Even the elastic-top side pockets help: a bit of care folding results in the carrying strap neatly tucked into one of those pockets (stretching across the top), which keeps the strap out of the way while in the Timbuktu, while still being readily usable if you want to remove the LowePro and carry it solo. LowePro suggests putting your loose lens cap inside one of the side pouches when the camera is in use. The elastic at the tops is tight enough that this should be a safe option. You can also stuff an UltraPod II into one of the side pockets - legs down, of course - and the business end will stick up slightly higher than the top of SH 140. OH: and the Rear Opening - with no "Weather Cap" - makes it easier to open the LowePro and remove the camera while it is in the larger bag. 3) Final odds & ends: Unlike the outer zippers, the pocket zipper in the top of the bag has NO metal pull, but a small "rope" instead, and it has a protective sleeve you can slide it under. The elastic memory card holder is very small, but the zippered pocket is essentially the full width and length of the top (albeit not very deep, of course). Plan to use that for memory cards, but you could also put one or two of the Pan's batteries in there as well. The carry handle on the top of the bag is only useful as long as the bag is zipped closed. And there are a pair of belt loops on the back (about 2 1/2 inches high. For the purpose of carrying a FZ1000, and spending much of its life inside a larger (and somewhat more weather resistant) bag, the SH 140 appears a good choice.

This bag was a perfect fit for my Fujifilm X-T10 camera. Not too bulky or heavy to carry either. Nicely padded inside and it has enough room for an extra lense.

I love Lowepro bags and this one is no exception. I bought it for my Sony a6300. It's a perfect diminutive size for my camera. Lots of great padding for protection and a good amount of hideaway pockets for batteries and lens covers. My only issue with this bag is the backwards design. It looks like the typical camera bag with the front flap that latches. Well that front flap is actually the back of the bag. I keep unlatching the flap to get my camera out realizing that I have to turn the bag around and unzip it to get inside the bag. The front flap with latch only covers the hideaway pocket for accessories. Every other camera bag's front flap with latch unlatches to get inside the bag for the camera. Very odd design.

This bag suited my needs perfectly as it was able to carry the camera and it's accessories with room to spare. Total profile is not that large even when thoroughly packed. Easy to carry as it remains extremely light which is good for long days or difficult hikes or shooting locations. Lastly, the case is soft and flexible but provides sufficient protection for its contents in my opinion as I've dropped it once or twice from shoulder height and had no significant impact to it or anything within. Good case for the price and serves its purpose well.

I upgraded my 7d Canon camera to the new 7d mark ii and also bought the Lowepro Adventura bag to save space in my carry-on for traveling in airplanes and trains. I wanted a smaller good quality bag, with good padding, enough space for the camera and some accessories and be somewhat weather proof. While I was in Best Buy purchasing the new camera I saw this particular model I tested with the new camera and it was a perfect fit. I took the bag to Europe and it worked fine. I'm very satisfied with the quality and size and besides I own two other bags Lowepro bags that I used for cameras and lenses. Very good product.

Feels snug, well padded, light weight and easy to grab and go on your voyage! I have an 18-140 lens camera and even with my petal hood on inward, it fits. Side pocket fits my extra filter. Inside pocket fits extra battery and memory card. For all the other accessories, I have a messenger bag that fits the extra lenses, tripod, cleanin equipment, etc... But I bought this specific spare little bag so i can take it when I dont want all of the complete heavy equipment on my shoulders, just my camera and a pocket to store it.

My husband received one of the newer model Nikon DSL cameras from his employer, so he needed a camera bag and memory card for it. Searched online for the camera bags and after reading many, many reviews and checking dimensions we purchased this bag for the camera. There are places for USB cables as well as the flash and memory card case. We purchased this in early 2016 and it's a keeper since day 1! Besides being the perfect size and having plenty of room for the extras including the flash, the bag has held up through trips out of state as well as get-togethers. No seams have unraveled or ripped. The bag looks like the day we bought it, over 9 months later. For the price, LowePro quality ranks up there as well or better than more expensive brands. Quite a satisfied couple of people who love taking pictures! We both recommend this bag 100%.

The case is perfect for my camera, fits snugly and still has room for a few filters and extra battery. The plus is the side pockets, great space for my cell phone since I like to use that for instant photos, while I am out. The bad is I will need a larger case if I buy an extra lens.

This bag is well padded and very light. It is not bulky and has enough storage for accessories. It's just a little small so it suits a mirrorless camera with its accessories a little better that a larger DSLR.

This bag is high quality and I believe it will last for years. I bought it for my Sony A6300 and it has room for lens filters, lens caps, batteries and chargers. It also has room for more lenses but I only have the stock lens let so I put my camera down in the bag vs have it sit on top of the dividers like I think you are supposed to use it. The front flap is almost pointless as the zipper is in the back and the one pouch the front flap covers has its own zipper.

This bag just accommodates my Olympus E5 II, 17mm primary, 14-150 telephoto, and mini-flash in the main compartment. I can also keep two extra batteries and charger in the side pockets. It is rugged and well padded yet still compact. I had initially bought the SH 120 II but it was too small. Both are great bags at very reasonable prices, just be sure to get the size that works for you.
