It is protective, but the battery slides around which can put pressure on the camera lense . It's a heavy duty case with tough corners, which makes it a little less supple in a bag. I like the stick panels on the inside which can be moved around to suit your particular camera. I just wouldn't buy it again because I want a more reliable storage pocket.

Almost what I was looking for

It does offer some nice protection, but, it's difficult to slide my camera choice (Sony Cybershot) into the pocket. I've ended up just laying it inside and zipping it up. It would be great for some cameras...just not mine.

Tough case

The case is sturdy and tough with nice zipper and compartment that holds charging cord and fits 2x3 printing sheets, for our Polaroid camera it's perfect and I recommend.
