It was only $40. That is %60 off the original price of $100. How could I pass it up? The Gorilla pod works just as I had read about and the camera bag is ok. I would have bought a different bag if I had to buy them separately. There isn't anything wrong with it but it doesn't have anything special about it either.

Great for when you need a short tripod (tabletop) for product, food, etc. the bag is a real bonus- holds camera with lens attached & flash. Plus the tripod alone costs more than this 2fer deal so why not? A really nice surprise! Tripod also works well for holding off-camera large flash without worrying about it moving or collapsing.

Good starter bag for first dslr
