The Lucid Hearmuffs for infants is a quality product effectively serves a very important need. In the package you get the Hearmuffs and a USB cable for charging. The first thing I did was fully charge the Hearmuffs. It took less than an hour to fully charge, but without a power level indicator, I could not tell how much power it had when delivered. The manufacturer states that the charge should last 6-8 hours. Do far I have no reason to doubt that estimate. To connect to Bluetooth, press the centers button until you see a blue flashing light. At that point, just go to your device and add the headphones. Quick and easy. These headphones are designed to block out noise at levels that may be harmful to your child. It also has volume controls, however even at it's highest setting it is limited. I got this for a 3 year old and a 2 year old. Both tried to remove it until I started streaming something through the Bluetooth connection. The headband and the ear cups are very soft. Overall it appears to be high quality at a very reasonable price. We have many potential uses for this product including sporting events. I highly recommend this product.

These headphones work great and pack a lot of functionality into a comfortable and good looking pair of headsets. There’s no instructions and the buttons aren’t clearly labeled, but you just need to press and hold the middle button til you hear the power on sound. You then continue to hold until the button flashes and then you can pair it to any device that supports Bluetooth. Packaging is basic plastic and easy to open since it’s not pressed together, just snapped in place. Only minor complaint is it doesn’t use usb-c for charging so you will need to check orientation. These aren’t noise cancelling, they’re more like a kids version of Bluetooth work headgear which do a good job of blocking noise. My 3yo daughter really likes it, fits her comfortably and it’ll be handy for road trips. I’ll have to get a second one for my younger daughter.

So we got these for our newborn, she is 2 months old in the picture. They fit her very nicely, and help block out the noise from her siblings. She seems to enjoy wearing them or at least has not made any effort to move her head or try to get them off. She is able to sleep with them for naps and we do not worry about sudden noises that might startle her. Her 4 yr old sibling also tried them on and he liked them too, They fit comfortably. He was able to use them with his ipad to stream sound to through the Bluetooth connection. And it helps to block out (muffle) environmental sounds as well. We can even stream lullaby music to our newborn as well to help calm her when she is fussy.

I got these HearMuffs for our three-year old, who loves music and dislikes loud noises. She’s tried on my noise cancelling headphones while we’ve been traveling, but those are adult-sized -- they are too large to fit her comfortably or even stay in place. The HearMuffs are just what we needed, and a much better fit. The headband adjusted easily to the size of our toddler’s head, and the earcups cover her ears completely, with enough tension to stay in place without causing any complaints. I can’t offer personal experience with the sound quality or comfort since the HearMuffs are too small for my head, but the little one is a HUGE fan. She told me that they “sound nice” and “feel good” on her head, and she has already asked to use them again several times. That said, we’ve only used them with the Bluetooth feature, playing music from my phone. I don’t know that she’d be as excited to keep them on her head if they were *just* blocking noise and not adding entertainment value. I will note that these utilize *passive* noise reduction, rather than active noise canceling. External noise is blocked out by the foam earmuff covering the ear, but there’s no technology monitoring for noise and actively canceling it out with inverse sound waves. Overall, our toddler gives the LucidAudio HearMuffs two thumbs up, and I’m quite happy with them.

Great affordable option, especially if you travel! The not so good, and I realize this is a personal gripe but I'm sure I'm not alone. I HATE clamshell packaging! I get it, it protects well, it's inexpensive and simple to manufacture, BUT opening is ALWAYS a hassles. As for comfort, use and convenience, these are a great choice. We used them on a 24+hour each way trip and 4 days on camp site with our RV and the 13 month old seemed loved them. They appeared to be very comfortable for her and of course for us, the operation and pairing was simple. The next test will be in May when we see how they work on an airliner but so far, very good. End of day, I would recommend to a friend.

Protecting a child's ears is important and these Lucid Hearing HearMuffs do just that. While watching my GodChild, I had a way to keep her comfortably entertained as she watched her favorite programs on the iPad. The battery life is good, comfort is A+ quality, and buttons were very responsive. Good Job Lucid.

Great fit and adjustment ability. Bought it for a 1-year old. Good sound quality. Connects easily to bluetooth capability. Wish it had white noise option but perhaps other version might. Keep instructions until you’re clear about which button is for power/volume etc. Not clearly indicated on the headphones themselves.

Purchased for my toddler for when we are going to places with loud noises or plane rides. Bluetooth works great and they must be comfortable because he doesn't try to take them off.

I like them because they are easy to put on my baby and he does not seeing bothered. My baby can go to sleep easy when we are around noise and people talking ect.

We used these for my 1.5 year old son on a flight from Nc to ca. I record myself reading him books and play them for him. After a few days of getting used to using them he stopped trying to pull them off. The noise canceling seems to work well enough.

I love everything about these headphones. Sound is great. Connection great. My grandson don’t leave home without them.

These headphones are an awesome step up from traditional plug in toddler headphones. Having a bluetooth connection is a huge plus for me as it prevents the accidental yanks, trips, spills that might come otherwise. These headphones are well built and seem comfortable enough to be worn for a long time. Although the controls are basic, I also love the built in volume limitation so that I know that, even if my child cranks up the volume, they won't damage their hearing. These are a wonderful set of headphones that are exactly the right price. Highly recommend

These headphones are nice. I wish the materials felt a little more solid as I'm sure my kid will break these at some point. I like that these block noise but not ALL noise. These are great for sensory issues as well as dropping the sound level in loud situations. The addition of bluetooth to use with a tablet was great as my oldest says these are actually comfortable compared to any other headphones we've tried for him. The bright colors are a nice touch and the packaging wasn't a huge pain to get into. Sound quality is pretty standard for a fairly priced set of kids headphones. I'd recommend these to other parents.

The family can continue to watch tv and movies with the sound bar on without harming or scaring the baby with loud sounds. Gentle enough for newborns and grows with the child for hearing protection. I was excited for these since I do have a small daughter who doesn't have her own set of ear protection for when we're participating in a few louder activities. I know these are really designed for headphones, but I was hoping for a two in one with these. To test these I had my 4 year old wear them while yelling random phrases at her to see if she could hear me. It definitely muffled the sound, but not enough to not know what I was saying. I then had her watch me in my wood shop for a bit to see how the noise cancellation works. Overall it worked ok. I think it does muffle enough sound to protect her ears from damage, but it still has a lot of sound coming through so that she didn't like being in the shop and turning on a new piece of equipment could still startle her. I also connected it to a device to play music and it was quieter than other headsets I've used so it does have limit which is nice, but my kids don't listen to music very loudly anyway so that wasn't one of my biggest concerns. After having my 4 year old use it and give me some feedback, I tried it with our infant who I really got it for. Its hard to find sizes for really small children, but we like them to have ear protection if we go out to see fireworks or other events that are pretty loud. They seemed to fit pretty well and much better than anything else I've found. She kept trying to pull them off, but I didn't get the feeling it was because they were uncomfortable, just she didn't want something on her head. I'm guessing if we were at a fireworks show and she could feel how they helped it would be a different story. It is hard to find smaller sizes that muffle sound and that my kids think aren't too uncomfortable. Overall I love them and think they are perfect for I wanted to use them for.
