Stunning color... Rose Gold! Power on and hit the sync button on the LS35X and the Xbox to connect... just like wireless controller. Once connected you do not ever have to sync again unless you are using on multiple Xbox consoles. Simple control layout, no distractions and no hunting for buttons. Large volume dials are extremely easy to find and control. Same thing with the mic mute, press outside of the right ear cup. Microphone tip illuminates red when the mic is muted. Auxiliary microphone built into the headset for backup mic or mobile use. Sound quality is phenomenal and very comfortable.

---SETUP---
The setup for the Lucid Sound headset was easier than most. No cables required to connect to the Xbox One. Just push a pairing button on the headset and the pairing button on the front of the Xbox that you normally use to pair new controllers and you are done in less than 3 seconds. The headset comes with sufficient charge to test your headset immediately.
---FEATURES---
The key features of this headset include a dual mic system, one detachable for gaming, and one integrated for phone calls. Mic monitoring included. The volume dials are hidden in plain sight thanks to the aesthetic of the headset, located on the left (volume) and right (chat mixer) of the ear cups. Comfortable, removable ear cups provide long-lasting gameplay. Compatible with Windows Sonic and Dolby Atmos.
---PERFORMANCE---
The performance is outstanding. Try changing the settings on the Xbox and you will hear the difference in something as simple as the menu sounds when you switch between the settings of Stereo, Dolby Atmos (must have Atmos downloaded), or Windows Sonic. I tested these headsets with The Outerworlds, Apex Legends, Netflix, and Vudu apps. In both, the Outerwords and Apex Legends, it was easy to determine the location the sound was coming from. In my streaming shows and movies, I appreciated the crisp, booming audio from the action and decided to watch an entire film without using my soundbar preferring the headphones instead.
---EXPECTATIONS---
The product meets my expectations. There are some design choices that would make these more enjoyable. For example, compared to the 7 other pairs of headphones I own, these ear cups are smaller, but they still cover my entire ear and are comfortable. Other than that, I found these headphones to be a great addition to my Xbox. I was also able to pair these to my PC, but you require an Xbox Wireless adapter if your PC doesn’t already have an integrated one. The process was just as simple and worked with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic on PC as well.
---VALUE---
The price for the Lucid Sound headset in terms of value is worth the investment.
---APPROVAL---
I highly recommend this product for people who game often and want an extra layer of immersion. The mic monitoring is amongst the best I’ve heard, the lows are discernible and the highs are crisp. Overall, a great holiday gift for any gamer needing an upgrade.

Not just another gaming headset, here is why

When you first open this, you'll notice something interesting. The packaging is very earth friendly, and consists of cardboard materials not plastic. Very cool. I feel better buying stuff that doesn't have endless pieces of high end plastic that will take thousands of years to biodegrade. Anyway, after you get past that, you'll see it is pretty straightforward.
There is a headset, a detachable boom mic that you can use or not use as it has an internal mic too, the USB charging cable (no USB charger, just cable), and the 3.5mm male to male patch cable to plug in an audio device such as a phone, so you can play music or whatever via the 3.5mm plug/cord.
Once you charge it up, and mine came mostly charged, I decided to start with playing music from both my Mac and my iPhone. Music sounds perfect, with vocals and instrumentals both being perfectly balanced. You will find there is a volume knob on the left for the music and one on the right for gameplay chat. Both of these are the huge logo as the volume knobs and pressing in on the logo are the mute buttons for each. No reaching for little wheels to turn, these are the entire logo that moves around and are the volume knobs.
Moving on from music, I was able to connect to the Xbox system wirelessly with NO dongle or hub needed. It learns in as a device, like a controller. First time I've encountered this, a purpose designed headset that is truly wireless with no hub or additional equipment having to be plugged into the Xbox. You will hear things you didn't know you were missing because it is crystal clear. Muting game sounds can be done with a nod to the right (shoulder contacts center of dial and mutes) and the same with music on the left nod, therefore leaving your hands to gaming.
This has an external boom mic and an internal mic. It actually also has microphones built into the outer earphone cup, so you can hear yourself speaking and not yell. This is appreciated by people around you and also fellow game players.
I will say, as I wear glasses, these are completely easy to wear and did not press against my glasses or feel uncomfortable in any way. My ears didn't get too hot and I felt like I could wear these for hours without any discomfort at all. As you know, gaming can go on for hours, so you want to feel like what you are using won't make you feel anxious or uncomfortable. The headband is padded and not pressing against my head. The ear pieces are replaceable too, which is a big plus!
I see the packaging showing these are officially Xbox licensed, so I feel like it is a legitimate product with a purpose. While I never heard of this company before, LucidSound, I realize they are on a mission to provide a decent product to the gaming community, at a decent price to a specific market. They know gaming and that makes this special.
The color of these is pretty cool, the white with rose gold looks cool to me. Others who have seen them are impressed with this color scheme and overall look.
P.S. - I had contacted tech support for an issue I was having and was surprised at the responses coming back late at night or during the day. These guys are serious about what they are doing and it shows in the product, but also the support. Problem resolved, just needed a reset. Worked through the issue until 100% resolved.

These headphones are so styling, my wife hasn't put them away on me after 2 weeks of using them every evening and leaving them out on top of the Xbox!
Even better than that - I've only had to charge them ONCE since taking them out the box. Battery life is AMAZING.
My buddies love the improvement of this mic over my old headset, and its VERY comfortable!
Sleek controls, easy to pair - and impressive noise isolation (filters out ambient noise in the room).
Paired well with Note10+ to rock out some Spotify and Mario Kart.
Love these and recommend for any gamer that values original style and sound fidelity.

Great pair of headphones. I like how comfy they are, and even when I wear glasses they don't press on them that much. I also like how simple they are to use. They just pair with a Xbox, the same way you pair a controller. No need for additional USB dongles or cables. The functions to control volume, mute and/or chat are the headphones themselves, so no need to fumble around to find little buttons.
They sound amazing in stereo, but if you purchase a Dolby atmos license in either Windows 10 or Xbox you can use it on both (granted you use the same Microsoft account its tied up to) and you get amazing surround sound that way. Only gripe is there is no Dolby Atmos free code included, would have been a nice extra, but its not that expensive to buy either.
Highly recommend them for amazing sound and comfortable gaming sessions!

Finally, I’m free from cables. Design is simple nothing special, quality seems durable after a week of gaming. Sound quality is amazing with 7.1 I could hear every move occurs in the game. Dual mic is removable and super clear with no issue. Setup is simple easy just push the sync button on Xbox and then press and hold the power button on the headset for couple seconds until light starts blinking until turns solid. Volume control by the outer ring is absolutely smart idea and by pushing the center button on the ear cup would Mute the mic. Great headset. All of the cables are included; USB charging cable and 3.5 audio cable, unfortunately it does not come with a carrying case.

This is an honest review of the LucidSound LS35X Wireless Gaming Headset. My experience with them has been mixed.
Pairing:
Xbox - it's straight forward, easy, no dongles required
PC - audio cable only, not wireless unless you buy an Xbox dongle
I think the box is a bit misleading (see uploaded photo) as it clearly says Xbox and Windows 10 but it's not really a wireless headset for Windows 10.
Sound:
The sound is good, Lucidsound definitely tune these in a way to make ambient gaming noises clearer. Playing Overwatch League on my Xbox I noticed some background music while playing that I had never heard before.
In non-wireless mode, it seem that these are fully active earphones, so they HAVE to be turned on for you to be able to hear and use the microphone. Odd that they don't have a passive mode compared to other similar priced headsets.
Comfort.
They fit well, the arm that goes across your head is VERY well padded. The ear cups have faux leather and cover your ears completely giving noise isolation. There isn't any breathing room though, so I noticed my ears did sweat more than normal during game sessions (within in an hour).
General
These are the only wireless gaming headset that I have come across that don't require a software download. Probably because it assumes you have an Xbox dongle for your PC. They are nice looking and the rose gold is well done and at a glance they look like Beats. As a dedicated Xbox headset they are solid but you may be better to look for a headset that you can use wirelessly with multiple devices.

Received as part of the Best Buy Tech Insider Network.
First off, they look really nice, my roommate calls them cute. The rose gold sorta borders on overdone but still not obnoxious. The headband has quilted "leather" which makes them comfortable to wear for extended sessions. The ear cups are very padded but can get very sweaty at least for me.
Functionally they are as hyped. The sound great, chats come in great and with great quality. The mic is clear and doesn't distort. Connecting to an Xbox is as simple as connecting an extra controller. If you want to use it PC gaming like I do, you will need to have/use the Xbox wireless adapter if your PC doesn't support Xbox wireless. But does have a regular auxiliary cord for ease of use with other devices.
I think the only negative I have with them is the weight, which can cause neck fatigue.
Overall great headphones.

I feel like all other headsets are lacking behind lucidsound only because how easy they are to use. no dongle, no wires, 15 hour battery life, looks stylish, and a detachable mic. my only complaints are that they kind of feel weak, like they could break easy on the hinges and they dont have bluetooth compatibility and they don't use usb c charging. i also feel like for a newer pair of headphones they should have more presets for different sound experiences. bass boost, footstep mode, etc. the price is also slightly high for what you get so if you want them make sure they are on sale.

Best headset for Xbox one. I’ve own a lot of gaming headsets and this is the only headset I’ve really enjoyed using. I’ve own this headset for a year and that says a lot. Been searching for a great headset and finally found one. Comfortable, great sound, not too heavy for long gaming hours. Love the rose gold color. It’s nice as a girl gamer to have more color options for gaming headsets. Love the mute function, it has to be my favorite part of the headset compared to other headsets.

The sound from this headset is remarkably clear and crisp with pinpoint directional accuracy when the enemies are near.
With that being said this headset does have a couple missteps, I've gone to the LucidSound website and have done the update for this headset. However it will still lose in game audio while it is still connected. Turning the headset off the back on fixed the issue.
The only other problem I have with this amazing headset, is when the headset needs to be charged and you have the charging cable plugged in, It can't be used. Before this headset, I had the Rig 800LX which I really liked also. The Rig 800LX would fully charge in a couple hours while using them. With the LucidSound LS35X, once the rechargeable battery is discharged you have to wait for it to charge before you can use it again.

I decided to use the headset with a shooting game that was release about two weeks ago.
First, the pairing, it's as simple as pressing the pairing button the console, and then on the headset, and that's it! It's game time!
I played for about two hours, and during that time, they were comfortable, and very light. On one side of the headset, you have the voice volume control, and on the other side you have game volume control, very intuitive and easy to use. The mute feature and light indicator are a nice touch.
The sound is pretty good, even at max volume, the sound wasn't muddled in any way, the one downside is the bass. I guess I was expecting it to sound like a movie theater in my ears, but the explosions in the game still sounded great.
The battery lasted me the whole 2 hours, and i haven't tried a full battery test yet, so I will update when able.
All in all, a great headset for a gamer who wants to hear where the enemy is coming from.

Good sound. Great to have a wireless headset for xb1. Make sure you update it before use. If you have a lot of interference in your wireless network then expect to have disconnects.
