    Good, not great

Very interesting plot. Could have been a bit better, but worth watching. For me a great movie is one that you want to watch over and over. For me Lord or the Rings, X-Men, Pirates of the Caribbean is like that, not sure Lucy is. Down the road, I'll watch it again, sometimes a movie grows on you.

    Thought-provoking what-if sci-fi with action

Luc Besson’s “Lucy” is an unexpected and thought-provoking exercise in What-If science fiction, masquerading as a summer action blockbuster. Despite some maddening flaws, it presents a powerful and compelling vision of what evolution, enlightenment, and eventual human ascension might look like.

This is a fun movie in the same vain at John Wick. The theory it is based off isn't as good as Limitless, and has been disproved, but if you sit back and just enjoy the show it is very entertaining. The Best Buy exclusive I pre-ordered was also nice. Easy in store pick up made my experience very easy.

The Whirlpool refrigerator is a bit larger than my old one, a bit louder (not so much as to bother with), and has more features. I am hoping it will last as long as the Kenmore (18 yrs). Some thought was put into the design and I find it more versatile. All in all quite pleased. The delivery guys were quick and efficient. Have you seen how they get the old one out and the new one in? I laughed out loud I was so surprised!

Excellent action movie,. Completely untenable but good for the spirit. Scarlet Johannsen plays the unfortunate pawn and is convincing as the victim turned avenger. Although the story is unbelievable for reality purpose of mind expansion it is entertaining as a concept of chemical mind evolution.

Regardless of the scientific inaccuracy of the 100% brain, Luc Besson delivers another solid film in the same vein of both Leon-The Professional and The Fifth Element. Visually arresting and tightly shot Lucy hits all the right marks and delivers Scarlett Johansson in another riveting action film

This movie was fun and entertaining but a bit out there. We enjoyed it nonetheless and if you don't try to analyze it to death you will find yourself entertained for the duration of the movie. Not Scarlett's best work but I still enjoyed this movie, and at least it's not another cookie cut story.

if you spend a lot of time analyzing the movie you will see the flaws in the idea but if you don't you will love it. the movie is well paced and looks great. it is a interesting to think that we could access all of our brain but that will open all kinds of other problems. well worth the purchase.

The quality of the 4K HDR in this Blu-ray was stunning, the special effects and scenery really popped. One of the better demos of the tech so far. The film itself was a little lackluster and cheesy so I give it 4 stars overall, 5 for the image quality, 3 for the film.

A Sci-Fi Look Into The Future of Brain Usage...

A "what-if" scenario of what could happen if science can find ways to use more of the brain. Scarlett Johansen & Morgan Freeman team up in an unlikely pairing to further his research. This video has one of the greatest car chase scenes since "Bullitt" and the "Blues Brothers"....

Honestly, I thought perhaps it could have been better, but it was an enjoyable watch. I would suggest waiting for a sale if you think of buying this, unless you already know you really like the film. It is always nice to see a female lead kicking butt though.

Don't want to ruin a good flick, I enjoyed every second. Lots of miss-direction and intrigue. And Lucy makes "Black Widow" look like a school girl. But the ending, first in my view sets up the sequel (in a rather bland way) and brings a great action movie to a screeching halt. If I could I would have taken off 1/2 star for the ending.... If you can, get the exclusive packaging, it has Lucy in 3 D sort of and is haunting!

If you enjoy Scarlett Johansson and action movies, you have to check this out. Luc Beeson gives the action style and fun that is worth the purchase. The science of it might be a little far fetched, but I recommend suspending belief and taking the ride. It's worth it.

A good yet intense action/adventure movie featuring Scarlet Johansen--FINALLY--in the lead role. Add in Morgan Freeman, throw in a little sci-fi, mix with some legitimate science and apply a dash of action and you have a good movie that can appeal to any fan of any genre.

Lucy has a unique way of revealing its story. It explores deeply on a PBS level the maximum use of the brain combined with a Luc Besson shoot ' em up. Picture quality is nothing short of beautiful with great sound. I wish there was a commentary to accompany the movie.

Typical Besson fare. Female protagonist must overcome her oppression by becoming a über-human fighting machine. If you like Anime (Shōnen), films like The Matrix and Limitless, Pseudo/"Soft" Sci-Fi, or simply watching Ms. Johansson kiss butt, then this is your ticket. No shame in that.

Ok, so Lucy is not a greatest movie but it does have Scarlett Johansson doing an excellent job in another action film, Morgan Freeman and an evil villain. It's a fun ride. The 4K picture quality is first rate and the Dolby Atmos soundtrack is very immersive.

Lucy demonstrates a wild science-fiction concept of what happens if someone started using all her brain power. It is a fun movie in which Scarlet Johansson steals every scene she is in along with some help from Morgan Freeman. Moving at a decent clip, the viewer will not be bored.

This is one of the few movies that I saw at a cinema. Both the concept and its execution was wonderful. The special effects were used to surprise and carry the plot along. This movie is one that I will watch over and over again.
