This movie looks awesome in 4K. This was a blind buy that was recommended by a friend and glad i listened. Action-oriented movie.

The story concept was spectacular, but the execution was poor. I was quite surprised at Luc Besson's direction of this movie, he is one of my favorite directors, but he seemed to drop the ball on this one. The acting was good but the script was a little lame.

Lucy is one of those movies that you hope isn't ruined by showing all the good parts in the previews. Well, this isn't the case and the movie is terrific! Scarlett Johansson is excellent in her role as Lucy and Morgan Freeman does a great job as always. The action is plentiful and keeps you on the edge of your seat. So glad I bought this and will watch it a number of times.

Good movie. Definitely went in a different direction that what the trailer shows. Action sequences definitely have a Luc Besson feel about them, although I was hoping there would be more of them.

This movie's plot is far from original, but after seeing it on cable the cast and effects brought this movie alive. The trailer for the movie was sort of misleading as it stood only on the appeal of Scar-Jo, but the movie was a nice surprise.

Wasn't my favorite when I first saw it but after multiple viewings I've got to give it high ratings. The storyline is worth watching more than once and of course the visuals are never disappointed with Scarlett Johansson

I enjoyed this film. Good story plot but it got weird and strange. The idea of this movie was very interesting but got very confusing later. Scarlett Johansson plays an awesome character! Morgan Freeman also had a short but captivating part.

One of the best 4K Ultra HD movies out there, the visual effects are awesome, the colors really pop out and you will appreciate the fine detail of the movie. The sound was immersive especially the gunfire and explosions was fun to listen too.

This movie was a total surprise, as it takes several different story lines and mixes them up with some different genre's that you would think would not work well together. But in the end its a Si-Fi movie that takes you on a cosmic trip. I thought it was well written and well acted, and that really brought the story forward with great pace.

Gotta love a movie based on science. ...err science fiction. ..any how this movie started our interesting and built on action and characters. Morgan Freeman was great as usual. Even though not based on true science I thoroughly enjoyed this movie

This movie was exciting and I enjoyed watching it, I just wish it was a little bit better. I think it could have been a little longer and explored more of the implications. But it was still worth seeing. Maybe there will be a directors cut somedy

Great movie. Starts a little slow for the first 5 minutes, showing you how naive and delicate the character is, but once she has a run in with the Chinese dealers and the implant they performed on her backfires, the tension and action take off.

This movie takes a scientific theory all the way. What would happen if we used all of our brain? I believe it is well done on that theory and it also affords the audience a good fast action story along the way. As Lucy uses more and more of her brain it seems her emotions fade. We see this a lot in high IQ persons. Imagine the possibilities!

4k quality is superb definitely the only way to watch this movie. This movie will make you sound system shake the whole house. Worth watching.

I was a little hesitate to get this movie only because I knew so little about it. My 13 year old wanted it but let me tell you guys...this movie was awesome!! Action packed from the very beginning and just like she does in the avengers..Scarlett Johansson kicks bootie throughout the entire movie. And wait till you see the ending! 2 thumbs way up!

ever wonder if you actually had this power where you were this intelligent would be very cool enjoyed the movie but when you go to the special part where they speak about really accessing your brain power, bummer,but that's entertainment.

The overal sharpness and picture quality is superb on Lucy. The movie is by far one of the best UHD presentations to date on the new format. Overall I recommend it if you are looking for a movie with lots of demo material.

Decent enough on the action front, if not a true action movie. The ideas presented are the bigger deal in this movie. If you pay attention to the concepts and theories inside the movie, it could spark some very interesting conversations.

If you love Sci Fi...this is a movie that will make you think.........seriously. What might or will happen if man kind can go past their own limits of thought. 10% brain capacity is nothing compared to a dolphin at 20%. Can man actually surpass his own boundaries and seriously become what he should be. Or what we claim we are....a thinking animal?

This is a really good movie! It is nonstop action, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat for the whole time. The acting is very well done, with a very clever plot. The special effects are really well done, and very imaginative. I highly recommend this movie!
