I had last year's model of the Lumee and loved it, but this version is much better. It's slimmer. Seems brighter. I know this is pitched as mainly great for selfies, but it works great for video too. The LEDs eliminate shadows without being too bright/harsh. The dimmer is a nice feature. Battery life is great. Decent protection for the phone as well. I use this to FaceTime from my DJ booth and it works great!

This is a great phone case for selfies and it does have some protective qualities which are great for the edge of the phone when you drop it it has a slight limp that goes further out in the screen which is great for face down drops which I've had many of while using this case the downfall is having to have an android charger to charge your g this is a great phone case for selfies and it does have some protective qualities which are great for the edge of the phone when you drop it it has a slight lip that goes further out in the screen which is great for facedown drops which I've had many of while using this case the downfall is having to have an android charger to charge your case an iPhone charger to charge your actual phone I wish that the iPhone covers charge with iPhone chargers in the android with android it would make it a lot simpler, also another slight downfall is the wait this cover adds to your phone you do get used to it but it does make it heavier and much thicker intern making it difficult to put in your pocket because the added bulk. Other than that the light settings were great with this one if you press and hold the button down the light gradually goes higher and then lower and the light is all around the phone

I love the lumee phone case, first of all it is very protective of your phone in general. And secondly it helps make all of your pictures in dark lighting pop. You need to charge this case seperately but a charge lasts a long time.

The light on this case really helps when taking photos and also when trying to do things in dark places. The case is sturdy and I already dropped it so that’s how I know. I just wish it came with a screen protector

This case does a great job at lighting up your face and is adjustable.I bought it for my girlfriend she really liked it but eventually took it off because it would get dirty really easily.

This case is actually pretty rugged! Great for streaming online live ! Dropped it a few times and only a few knicks and scratches but the rubber bumbpers on the front save it from nearly any kind of drop. I love it. Batter life of the light I decent, and it's super bright!

I like it. It's great when you're in dark areas and want to take a good picture. Definitely not protective for your phone. Dropped mine once and had deep scratches on the case (which is black and shows) and my phone took a hit. It's a bulky case and sometimes hard to hold.

I bought this as a gift for my teen daughter and she absolutely loved it. She's used it everywhere and it gives a good amount of light when taking selfies at night.

I had the first version, which wasn't that great for protection along wear and tear. This case is a definite upgrade from the previous & works great, plus the battery lasts pretty long if the light isn't left on for extensive amounts of time. Love it.

The product is exactly as promised. If you are looking for a selfie light, look no further. I however found it a but bulky for my taste. I have never had a PLUS size phone. lol

You can never have to many lights this thing works great for more than just selfies use it all the time wish the button was in a different location though always turns on in my pocket

Case is overpriced and way too bulky, but the lighting is great, I like how you can dim it if it is too bright.

The lighting on the Lumee is perfect for taking selfies. My only gripe is it is a bit bulky and made my iPhone 7plus bigger than it really was.

My new case is amazing. I absolutely love it, the lighting it gives me to take selfies is awesome. The battery lasts forever, I've had it a month and I've charged it once. Great buy!

This product, while original, lacks a realistic functional purpose. Does it illuminate? Yes. Is it needed? Not entirely, considering the phone uses the screen as a flash. And the use of the light on the case can get obnoxious and doesn't deliver a convincingly better picture than using the phone screen itself. The size of the case practically triples the weight and bulk of the iPhone making it a monster in your pocket for an already large phone. Add on top of it that the product is heftily overpriced at $60 dollars (at the time of purchase) and you can buy yourself a really good flashlight that will deliver better quality lighting for that price. You should pass on this product unless you want to carry around a brick of a flashlight that can act as a phone. I have given it two stars because it still functioned as intended and I think that is a fair assessment considering my experience.
