I love this thing. I bought a 2010 MacBook Pro during the peak of MacBook fandom. I had that thing for years, but have been using Windows products since 2015. I recently did a factory reset, upgraded all software, replaced and increased the ram, and put in a new battery. It ran beautifully for $150 put into it and I really enjoyed using it again. Then I heard Apple developed their M1 processor and I saw technology innovation that I haven't seen since 2010. I passed down my MacBook Pro to my mother and purchased the newest Air. The Pro is working perfect for my mom, the Air is exceeding my expectations. The point? Apple consistently makes a quality product that far exceeds the quality standards of other manufacturers. The full aluminum frame, the track pad and it's technology, the keyboard (and getting rid of the butterfly keyboard!), and screen are are top quality. And now finally, FINALLY, Apple has but a top quality processor on the inside of that. My issues with Apple have only been their internal components (fans, "logic boards", processors, ect) and it now seems like they are finally tackling those issues as well. 0 regrets purchasing my second MacBook after 11 years!

Pros: Speed, Weight, Memory, Navigation once you become accustomed to it, is easy. Cons: Monterrey is not compatible with iTunes, despite what the store associates and Apple Total Care+ tell you; research before you purchase.

Updating from a MacBook Pro 2009, this MacBook Air was just what I wanted and more. The apple silicon is blazing fast. Battery life with the apple silicon is also amazing. I do a lot work on my laptop, but I don't use very demanding apps so I stuck with the base 8gb ram and 256gb ssd.

Giving this a 5 star even though I returned mine. -The main reason I returned it is I’m used to 120hz / high refresh rate screens. -It is an amazing machine though, but it just seems to slow to me now and didn’t suit my needs. -It’s got amazing battery life though and superb performance. -I’m assuming most people would love it. I ended up getting the new M1 iPad as I really enjoy Touch and 120Hz display. But an iPad does have it’s limitations.

Love it This is my first Mac - have been MS all my life, so I wondered about the use and set-up of this. It's set-up was a breeze, and though there's a bit of a learning curve for adjusting to the ins-and-outs, it really hasn't been complicated. I love the backlit keyboard, the long battery life, the light weight, I ca use it outside without the glare and the keyboard is comfortable. !

Easily portable laptop with a lightning fast M1 chip. It's a high-performance mobile workstation when I travel; and the Retina display is absolutely gorgeous for photographs & videos. I love this MacBook so much that when Best Buy dropped the price to $800, I had to get one for my daughter to use for high school.

Amazing purchase. Great quality, and speed. Basically does everything the other laptops do at a lower price. Very satisfied with the display and how vibrant it is! My favorite feature is the fact that I can easily log in and fill in any information in websites using my fingerprint :)

I'm no expert on computers but this thing blows my mind. The fact that I can get this much power, with this much battery life that feels modern and has a great screen with a fantastic keyboard feels like a steal. I used this same model for a couple years as a work computer and then bought one for personal use. They have both been amazing.

I had a MacBook Pro in 2010, and I throughly enjoyed it a lot. The thing I enjoy about this MacBook Air is that it's lighter a little quicker, and I was able to pull up all my old files from my MacBook Pro. The sound quality is great having to listen to podcast/music. I would recommend this product for people that use it for simple task such as internet browsing, listening to music, homework, or streaming videos.

It's the best laptop at its price point. My wife primarily uses this for her school work and content/streaming, browsing the web. The M1 chip can be pushed a bit too. Fantastic battery life and MacOS is great as a whole

Exactly what you want in a laptop - fast, reliable, easy to use, holds a charge, etc. I could go on and on but Mac is just the superior laptop, whether you get an Air or a Pro you cannot go wrong. Display is crystal clear as well and looks better than most monitors that run you the price of the MacBook itself.

I have had this model since January 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about it! I was initially apprehensive about purchasing due to the price tag, but I had heard so many people speak highly of it, so I took the chance and was pleasantly surprised! I bought it with the purpose of using it for school, so I knew it would be used heavily, and I had concerns about getting a laptop that would actually last me, at least, the duration of my program. In the past, generally, laptops have lasted me MAYBE 2 years maximum, so I am pleased to say it is now January 2024, and it works like a charm even with heavy daily use (writing papers/assignments, taking notes, participating in online classes, downloading and reading textbooks, recording presentations, as well as personal use). I completed my ADN, nursing residency, and almost the entirety of my BSN program thus far with this computer; it's my ride-or-die at this point!
