Great laptop, problems with configuration as it drain battery on sleep mode because of connected bluetooth devices. This stated after an update

Outstanding power with sleek design. This is the third MacBook Pro I have owned and they just keep getting better. The only negative with the newer model is the need to purchase adaptors to connect USB devices such as SuperDrive or older iPods, etc.

Excellent product for sure. Finally I made the decision between a 14 inch pro or a 13inch Air. Happy about the screen and the sound quality. Works well with my two ultrafine monitors, using only one cable.

Awesome macbook, awesome performance, but the only thing that I would give 4.5 stars it would be the Touchbar, that thing is so helpful a lot of times doing my work, I hope to come in the next model of M Pro chips!

I purchased this as a birthday gift for my son. As always this computer was perfect for what he needed as a student. I already had the 16 inch model, so it was an easy sell to get this for him.

I upgraded from the early 2020 MacBook Air with 8gb RAM and i5 processor-- this computer is SOOOO much faster it's insane. I have yet to give a task too hard for this computer to handle!

As someone who has used a MacBook Pro M1 Pro for over a year.. What’s Great 1. Daily Performance: The M1 Pro flies through daily tasks like document editing, streaming, and light coding. Even with dozens of tabs open in Chrome, the system rarely stutters. 2. Creative Work: As a video editor, exporting 4K projects in Final Cut Pro feels seamless. The hardware-accelerated ProRes support is a game changer, and rendering times are significantly faster compared to my old Intel MacBook. 3. Battery Life: This is one of the standout features. On a regular workday with browsing, video calls, and Spotify running, it easily lasts 10-12 hours. It’s perfect for working on the go. 4. Thermals and Noise: Coming from an older 2019 Intel MacBook Pro, the lack of fan noise is refreshing. It does get warm during heavy video editing, but never uncomfortably so. 5. Build Quality: The 14-inch form factor feels premium and portable. The mini-LED screen is vibrant, making it perfect for watching HDR content or working with color-accurate tasks. Things to Watch For 1. Software Quirks: While most apps run natively now, occasional Rosetta 2 emulation for older apps like FL Studio is a slight hiccup. Performance isn’t as smooth as native apps. 2. Gaming: It’s not a gaming machine. Casual gaming is fine, but for anything graphics-heavy, you’ll want a Windows laptop with a dedicated GPU. 3. Price vs. New Models: With the M2 Pro now available, the M1 Pro is cheaper used, but the performance difference is minor. If budget is a concern, it’s a no-brainer. 4. The laptop is a great update to our home tech package. I'm still looking forward to working up some pics and videos, but i expect seamless work and flawless results.
