As someone who has used a MacBook Pro M1 Pro for over a year.. What’s Great 1. Daily Performance: The M1 Pro flies through daily tasks like document editing, streaming, and light coding. Even with dozens of tabs open in Chrome, the system rarely stutters. 2. Creative Work: As a video editor, exporting 4K projects in Final Cut Pro feels seamless. The hardware-accelerated ProRes support is a game changer, and rendering times are significantly faster compared to my old Intel MacBook. 3. Battery Life: This is one of the standout features. On a regular workday with browsing, video calls, and Spotify running, it easily lasts 10-12 hours. It’s perfect for working on the go. 4. Thermals and Noise: Coming from an older 2019 Intel MacBook Pro, the lack of fan noise is refreshing. It does get warm during heavy video editing, but never uncomfortably so. 5. Build Quality: The 14-inch form factor feels premium and portable. The mini-LED screen is vibrant, making it perfect for watching HDR content or working with color-accurate tasks. Things to Watch For 1. Software Quirks: While most apps run natively now, occasional Rosetta 2 emulation for older apps like FL Studio is a slight hiccup. Performance isn’t as smooth as native apps. 2. Gaming: It’s not a gaming machine. Casual gaming is fine, but for anything graphics-heavy, you’ll want a Windows laptop with a dedicated GPU. 3. Price vs. New Models: With the M2 Pro now available, the M1 Pro is cheaper used, but the performance difference is minor. If budget is a concern, it’s a no-brainer. 4. Apple just has it together! If I do anything on my MacBook Pro it shows on my iPhone 13 Pro and also my Apple watch series 7, and reverse. They are all connected to iCloud. Learning the MacBook Pro has been easy with their tips and tricks. It seems like it see’s when you’re struggling and tips pop up. I am more than happy after Windows started going downhill, in my opinion.I want IT that simply works, and work together. The MacBook Pro and Apple in general just work!

This is the one I believe. I think I like it better than the 16-in pro. You beat a judge. You won't go wrong with this model.

Great product! Updated from a MBP 2017 and this feels light years ahead!

I purchased this device back in February. Open box brand new display from what the representative stated. Yesterday September 3, 2023 am apple agent told me the device I have was purchased back on 2021 and that the serial number and model number doesn’t match the receipt. So my item I purchased is not only out of warranty but not what I purchased and Best Buy refuse to fix the situation. Overall the computer is awesome and I love it but to find out theirs no warranty and not what I purchased has me annoyed. Plus the item on my receipt was purchased in April 2023 how if it’s on my receipt dated February 8??
