After a year of using the 2021 14 in MacBook Pro I’d say my experience has been nothing but satisfaction. Still runs great, battery is still efficient with no signs of heating, screen has no burn in or discoloration even though I use it everyday. This bad boy could probably last me 6-7 years easily.

Apple has done a great job again on this MacBook. I have used it for a full 16 hours on and off and performed well, did not heat on me, and performance was great. Definitely a must-buy if you are out of town and work on your laptop with no places to charge. The video card holds out with common day-to-day graphics work, and overall it is not heavy.

Great design, amazing OS, and fast! First of all let me start in so happy Apple listened to everyone and gave us back our sports! We get 3 and a separate charging port! Tho you can still use usb-c to charge this. Love the size and weight. Build quality is amazing!

I'm really excited about my new MacBook Pro! The M series chips are incredibly powerful. The display is amazing and provides high-quality visuals, and the added ports are very convenient. Overall, I'm extremely happy with my purchase and would definitely give it a 5-star rating.

What an amazing machine. I always purchase from Best Buy when they have student deals on Mac’s. Last one I got was a 2018. I love the new everything on it. The keyboard is far better and the display is breathtaking. The battery life is something to behold as I can go mostly all week without charging it. It’sa bit heavier and thicker but I love it that way. The extra ports are truly welcoming and less dongle life haha. Apple rarely disappoints and that holds true with this machine. There was much left to be desired by the previous iteration. This solves all of those issues. Only thing I thought I’d hate was the notch. But in most applications, it’s well hidden and never in the way. That’s the only downside I can think of. I got the base version but that’s truly what anyone would need as it is powerful enough to handle 99% off workloads for most people. And for 400 off, it was a steal. Thanks again!

I normally don't write reviews but this deserves one. I have always had windows laptops and about 5 months ago i purchased a used macbook. I broke the screen on my 2015 MBP and decided to purchase a new laptop rather than pay for repair. This was the best decision I have ever made with an electronic. I purchased the base model Macbook pro 14" with the M1 pro chip. Every windows laptop i have ever purchased has left me needing more battery, but it became the norm. I was unaware of the possibilities of battery lif until I used this Macbook. Not only is the computer unbelievably fast, but i charge it every 2 days with at least 5 hours of intense use each day. It is so compact and quick to respond, i find myself using it more than my cell phone for basic use. Its hard to spend the ticket price for this laptop but it is beyond worth it. I have been an adroid user for the past 15 years and this computer makes me wonder about switching to all apple products. If you are on the fence about this product, just do it. I find myself telling everyone about how amazing this laptop is. Best Buy was also a delight to deal with. I purchased online, and my pickup day was black friday and i was in and out within 3 minutes. I couldnt have been happier with my purchase. GO BUY IT!!!!

I'm a law student and my old MacPro with the Touch Bar broke down on me RIGHT BEFORE A GIANT exam. It was in repair but should have been done the day of my exam. The day of the test rolled around, and I got a call from Apple informing me it would not be ready in time and the repair would be very expensive as it was out of warranty. So--I decided to buy this guy with the intent to return it post-test. The exam required I download a bunch of software, charge it, what have you. This computer had EVERYTHING up and running in about 20 minutes, took less than an hour to charge and lasted multiple days. It has been nearly a year now and I love every minute of working with it. It makes law school homework more fun. I love everything about this computer and so much so, I bit the bullet on the cost and just kept it, throwing out my original plan to return it. I love the keyboard, the sound system, the speed, the screen size, the memory, charger, charging speed, etc.. Apple has truly outdone themselves and if they didn't, I would have 100% taken it back after my test because the price tag is high but guys, IT IS WORTH IT.

It's everything that you hope it will be, but maybe not more... Build quality is on par with apple standard (the best when it comes to mass manufactured products), and all the ports and new features work as they should. I haven't had any of the weird magsafe issues that people were complaining about. The screen is AWESOME! I forget all of their fancy names for things, but the smooth refresh rate and HDR screen are incredible, one of the nicest displays I've ever used. M1 power is real, and it does not disappoint. Speakers are great too, Apple has really pulled ahead of the game in this area. I'm used to a powerhouse windows desktop, so daily tasks seem a bit more cumbersome and slow on this machine at 16GB, so don't know if 32gb will help that or if it's just the macOS difference that makes it a bit slower. Other than this, I'm really pleased with the machine, and it's a good one to upgrade to if you're still on an intel mac, or are excited with the return of the ports!

I must say, this M1 Pro 14" is the complete package that has been missing since 2015. Ports, Battery life, Keyboard and Trackpad, Portability, Screen Quality & Smoothness 120Hz, Powerful Speakers, and Powerful Processor. Initially, I had no intention on upgrading from my M1 Air. Two weeks ago, my girlfriend purchased and received her M2 MacBook Air, and I saw my M1 Air design rather aging quickly. For the next week, I was going of buying or not. As of this past Oct 5, I have pulled the trigger and bought this M1 Pro 14" and sold my M1 Air to my former coworker. I cannot stand using the M1 Air of the old design for another 5-6 years when I also owned a 2015 MacBook Pro before my M1 Air. For a $100 more with the Best Buy discount from the M2 Air 16GB/512 configuration, all the features that comes with the M1 Pro 14" is worth it!

My favorite laptop ever. This is my first Mac and I’ll never go back. The battery life is great and it charges quickly. Mac chargers are my favorite because of the magnet. I also love the ease of everything Apple syncing. I use mine to edit videos and being able to AirDrop video from my phone is a game changer. I also love the display. It is gorgeous! The only downside I can find is that it’s kind of heavy compared to other laptops its size.. but it’s a workhorse and very powerful. It’s worth it IMO.

Great laptop for performance, battery life, and reliability. Screen quality alone is amazing. Black levels are true to life, colors are accurate, and brightest is great. The trackpad remains unmatched to PC's, while the keyboard is a great improvement from past MacBooks. Perfect laptop for anyone that loves Apple.

This thing is great. I use it for work daily. 8 hours a day; 5 days a week. I use photoshop and premier on it and it works great. This is my first Mac and I'm thrilled with it. I have it hooked to a 42" 4k tv. The craziest part is I can do a full day running both my external tv and built in monitor on battery. That's amazing.

Amazing performance with Apple returning to a function over for a revamp of the MacBook Pro. Haven't had a MacBook in year's but only due to their previous decisions that sacrificed the user experience for non-essential aesthetics. This go around feels far better and after working through some light editing, I'm thankful they've distanced themselves from the old Intel based models which also doubled as a small space heater when tasked with anything significant. For me, it checks all of the marks: ✅ General Computing w/ MacOS Monterey ✅ Video Editing unified memory for efficiency ✅ Battery Life at over 16 hours ✅ Screen Quality (Not quite 4k, but 120hz) ✅ Port Availability magsafe + type c charging, extra c ports, hdmi, audio 3.5mm and a SDXC card reader. Can't wait for a deeper dive as time goes by and I'm throwing more at it, as it has exceeded my expectations. Apple has truly raised the bar with this one.

Great computer. Super fast. The sound and display is incredible. The M1 Pro chip is incredible. I went from the 13 Inch 2020 MacBook Pro with Touch Bar to this , and WOW what a difference. It’s amazing. I will forever be an apple lover because I believe they create the most innovating technology that is so user friendly ! It’s simple yet has so many layers to it ! My favorite thing about apple has always been there set up and over all style ! They just keep amazing me, more and more ! Also can we just talk about how amazing the magic keyboard feels clicking under your fingers ! The touchpad is so fast and literally has so many different short cuts ! At first I didn’t think I would like the Touch Bar being dropped at I thought that was a step backwards. But they added in a bunch of ports. So all in all, VERY IMPRESSED ! Price is a little high. But you get what you pay for !

I just love my new MacBook Pro it has been wonderful so far. The battery life thus far as been very good. With the M1 pro chip speed has not been a problem for me. The display is gorgeous to look at. I am a very satisfied customer and would highly recommend this 14" MacBook Pro Laptop.

This laptop is incredibly powerful, and everything about it is premium. The trackpad and keyboard are unparalleled in the laptop space, and the miniLED display is so vivid and bright. Only gripe is that it doesn't come with FaceID despite the notch.

Excellent laptop for Software developer and creative work. MacOS is stable and integration with iPhone users is smooth. Keyboard is excellent for long coding sessions. Speakers are excellent within close range, like having a mini sound-bar for watching movies. Display quality and resolution is best in class, especially when reading text. Battery life is mixed bag: it last long under light load like web browsing but drains rather quickly when using with editing software or multitasking, like using Fusion 360 on battery. At 3.5 lbs. it’s still light for it’s class but noticeably heavier than the 13” MacBook Air. Cooling solution is more than capable though I don’t run more demanding programs other than IDE’s for coding and occasional CAD use. The fans are silent if not mostly idle is a testament how capable the M1 Pro chip is!

Bought this for my wife. She absolutely loves it. Way more power than she will ever need but wanted the ports. She has never been able to work Windows very well but she has no issue with this machine. I was blown away how well made it is. Also $400 off was great

This is seriously the best laptop I have ever owned. I am not an apple fan, but they do make some serious hardware. I have adjusted to the MacOS much easier that I thought I would once I stuck with it. It is very easy to operate and very fast for everything I have thrown at it including AutoCAD and some gaming like Civ VI. It gets nowhere near as hot as the Surface studio laptop I tested. The AutoCAD file I was working with made my windows Lenovo P17 workstation laptop crawl and the MacBook walked through it with ease. the only downside so far has been some apps that are not available on the MacOS. Get a hint Autodesk!!! I do wish that apple would add a touchscreen. At this price point I think they should.
