Great laptop! Came from an old MacBook Air. Difference in speed is amazing and screen real estate is super. Screen resolution is beautiful and love that the MagSafe is back. Hefty but good feel to laptop not flimsy. All in all 5 out of 5 stars.

This has to be one of the best laptops I have ever used. I cam from a 2017 MacBook Air and upgraded to this and the difference was insane. Highly recommend for anyone who wants a top notch laptop that can do practically anything.

Amazing machine for work. I work from home and this laptop is fast, good speakers, does not get hot and I love the quality of the image. The screen size is perfect, the 13” looks too small for me.

I have only used PC's in my job and at home. A girlfriend talked me into buying the Macbook Pro. I admit i struggled with it for a few weeks because it is quite different from a PC. However I am loving it now. Its fast, easy and quite a pretty laptop!

The main thing is I enjoy using it a great deal. The screen is great and it is so much faster than my old one. Battery life is very good. The wireless against my 802.11ax router works great.

Performance, compact, and lightweight design, stunning display. This model has it all! We also had a special consideration. My wife has an old little finger injury that prevents her from getting that finder right up next to her ring finger. So, the keyboard on other models was too small. This model gave us the larger keyboard without paying the premium for a 15 or 16-inch display. Worth noting: This was an open-box item. I never hesitate to go open-box with Best Buy. They ALWAYS stand behind their product. It was missing the mag connector cable and they made it right. Had one other time where the wrong stand was in an open-box 4K TV and they made that right too.

Normally when I restored my MacBook Air M1 from an older MacBook Pro... it took about 1-2 hours to complete... this MacBook Pro M1 Pro took 35 minutes... it was amazingly fast... the screen quality is superb and the extra screen real estate is so delightful! I highly recommend the new MacBook Pros to Apple enthusiasts! Also loaded Movavi and WOW my videos saved so quickly!

A very good laptop for the price, the processing chip lets me do all of my photo editing and homework with ease!

I got this Macbook Pro with my best buy rewards. So it brought it down a lot. I have a bunch of external memory so I went with the base model. It is fast! I downloaded Chrome and the Macbook Pro downloaded it real fast. I thought it may take a minute but no, a few seconds. I had a game on my last Macbook Pro and downloaded it onto this Macbook and it went real quick. The youtubers said this is heavy but it is a pound lighter and had a smaller form factor compared to the 2012 model. I do have some buyers remorse but I wanted the next purchase to last for a really long time so I went with the base model. If you are on the fence, just get the one you think will make you happy. Everything the youtubers say is true except the size. But that all comes down to what you had before.

Now this a real “pro”. This machine is perfect and has no issues. I use it daily for DevOps work and for building Docker Images. There’s nothing this machine can’t do. The visuals are great and crisp. The refresh rate is a very nice addition. Machine feels very premium. Worth every penny

I never knew laptop speakers mattered until i got this macbrook pro. The sound quality is amazing and the overall performance is just what i needed for everyday use. Running multiple browsers and programs with the base specs works quickly without any slow downs.

Amazing Laptop with incredible performance, screen, keyboard and ports. Sound is great, Fingerprint reader works perfectly. MagSafe charge port frees up ports. Small and quiet. Great build quality.

All the cons I had on on my past MBP 16 have been fixed : battery life, size, weight, USB’s hub requirements (hdmi output& sdcard reader built-in, the MagSafe is a pleasure to use (but why changing again and again the format?).

Unsurprisingly, the most recent MacBook Pro remained cool, quiet, and free of any unpleasant delay while I multi-task with Slack, Outlook, Discord, Zoom, and way too many Chrome tabs. My benchmark scores, however, really highlight how potent this device is.

Other than the notch not fully being worked out in the software, it’s amazing in very way. So much better than the Intel radiators made before in terms of performance, battery, screen, everything… not many desktop monitors can even compare to the screen in this in terms of color, refresh and brightness. That in a laptop is ridiculous. There’s faster windows laptops, but never last long and are thick or thermal bricks. There are thinner windows laptops, but thermal throttled and much slower. This is the perfect balance for me.

I do a lot on this laptop. Some data analysis and lots of tabs and applications open at a time. I've had no concerns or problems with this purchase and have been using for more than a year currently.

I've been a MacBook Pro user for well over a decade now and have been repeatedly disappointed with Apple's direction and revisions of their flagship laptop over those years. This version changes everything - I'm fully in love again. The resurrected ports, the much-improved keyboard, and even the remarkable spatial audio are all just the MINIMUM highlights for me - performance with the M1 Pro has been stellar, as well. And that notch? It's a tad odd, but it didn't take long at all for me to get used to it (and it does NOT interfere with your screen space - the entire menu bar is added and new screen space to the MacBook - technically a taller screen). If you're in the market for a high-end laptop, there's no better choice - even at the entry level with this base model. Trust me.
